I like the concept and all that but it's absolutely stupid that the planet is called, "War"(Krieg), that a bunch of their stuff involves the word, "War"(Krieg). I also think it's really dumb that they look like WW1 Germans soldiers because I think the Russians are way more grimdark.

When war is all you know. It becomes all. They simply dont know better. The Emperor gave them a second chance to prove themselves. So they simply refuse fail. Failure is worse then any death to a krieger.

After 500 years the imperium sent its reinforcements lols that's bs on part of the imperium so many loyalists died .

With not knowing the specific lore, and only how it all ended, I really believed that jurten was going to walk into the council meeting and gun them all down.

Where does their food come from? Their oxygen? Who makes and maintains their armour, weapons, ammunition or gear? An army needs a huge amount of support staff, and even the WW1 armies this is based on required huge numbers of support staff back home, as well as a massive industrial base to provide them with the supplies they need.
With a barren world like this, they require more support than even a regular army would

Wow this is really a great wahammer story. It makes sense on how they came to be and what makes thier way more special. They aren't like your typical imperial guards or space marines. These are the true soldiers who survived unbearable conditions and had made the hardest choices after thier Civil War. I think I'm going to trade my space marines for the Death Korps of Krieg. They are my new favorite now. Don't care, donate what anyone says, I'm changing sides.😂

I loved the book "Krieg", which contains this whole story and a current-time story about how the Krieg fight battles.
