That worobeus is way too dangerous. I had it plugged to 16” MacBook Pro and this thing was getting hot as high as 140F. No thanks. Returned.
ОтветитьI have the Wotobeus 240w model. Half the price of the UGreen.
Biggest advantage to me is all 3 USB-C ports will do PPS 25w and 45W charging simutaniously. This has been an issue on many third party chargers. It also has a grounded plug and is UL listed, which is great for safety.
Can this charger 200w to charge a hp laptop 200w?
ОтветитьSuperb electrical analysis!
ОтветитьHonestly: Do NOT buy the Ugreen one.
I have been sitting on a dead Nexode 200W for about 1 month now.
The USB-C3 port behaves like it wants to draw power instead of charging. The whole charger is also too hot to touch without any cable (other than power ofc) in after just 30 seconds or so.
And Ugreens support? Doesnt exist at all. I have gotten no reply from them. And their phone number on their site for their german site is fake.
I have now lost 150€ and I will NEVER get that money back.
Meh, that "disconnect ports to renegotiate" approach is utter nonsense and indicative of uninspired Chinese copy and paste programming. Not only do most (if not all) of the chips have built-in power monitoring so it would be rather easy to detect if the overall power consumption is over the power limit and if not then all is good anyway; most devices are not going to draw maximum power continuously anyway if at all. Also if there's an overload situation, one could simply (and without interrupt) renegotiate the port(s) using the most power to restrict them and only if that fails force a renegotiation on that port via a reset. Of course even if a current of 5A was successfuly negotiated, the device can only draw as much as the supply is willing to deliver, so a proper implementation could always use current limiting to simply deliver less. What exactly is the point of having a dedicated MCU pulling the strings and programming the USB port controllers if all they do is reset those controllers whenever something perfectly normal happens... you wouldn't slam the brakes and grind to a halt whenever the satnav tells you to make a turn, would you?
ОтветитьA couple of months ago my only experience with chargers were the ones that came with my phone, tablet or laptop. Well anyways, for the past month I've became interested in 3rd party multi port chargers that had at least 150w total. So not knowing which ones to get I decided to take my chances and get:
anker 747 with 150w and 4 ports
Omega with 200w and 4 ports
Ugreen nexode with 200w and 6 ports
Well as it turns out, all 3 of those chargers perform great. I just wish I would have gotten one charger instead of 3. But anyways, I still use all 3 chargers to make they all get their charging turns.
nah 200$ is too much is it realy that much more expensive to produce then 100w ones tho? I feel like this price tag is pure marketing like "you paid 20$ for 20w so you gonna pay 200$ for 200w"
Ответитьlook nice
ОтветитьXcellon PDG-4200B 200W looks and behaves the same as Wotobeus 200W. Probably another whitelabel product. One obvious difference is that it has standard 3 pin connector instead of folding pins, which is awesome as I can use my EU plug cable from laptop charger, extending the length of the overall reach (and pacing the brick somewhere where it won't cause issues due to excessive heat)
ОтветитьHey good videos. I see that ugreen cable says 7A 125V. Is that a standard laptop cable, available anywhere and everywhere? I'm another traveler wanting to charge three power banks (I'll get the new baseus blades and charge them at 60/65W with this ugreen chrager) and I want to confirm if I can really pick up any laptop / computer / monitor cable that has the right fitting on the end that connects to the charger (those three cylinder shapes, what's that end called?) But yeah, can I use any cable that will fit so I'm international proof with this charger if I just get a local cable? Thanks!!
ОтветитьApparently what the Ugreen mostly does is die prematurely. At least according to the amazon reviews.
ОтветитьSuper solid review, thx so much!
Gonna take ugreen
Can you check out ISDT Power 200 200W USB C Desktop
ОтветитьAlso, Ugreen is a chinese brand. Here in Pakistan we get these charges for such a cheap price tag. For example the Ugreen 65W usually goes foe $50 but here we can get it for about $15. The sellers on amazon just jack up prices for no reason. In no world it makes sense to spend $50 for an adpater that would last for barely a month.
ОтветитьI love your videos. They are so thorough and informative! Thank you for all that you do. I have one request, and a question. Can you pleaee review Swift Gan Travel Adapter? Secondly, whats the best portable adapter do you suggest? I travel alot and would like to charge a MacBook pro 14", a phone (33 W fast charge) and my headset alongside it.
ОтветитьUGREEN customer service is garbage. They do not respond if you have issues with your order. Only respond to sell more product, but issues is from a different department that doesn't return any emails. Also not based in America so you'd be paying for international calling if your carrier allows.
ОтветитьWhy don't u measure weight without power cord
ОтветитьPlease do the hyperjuice 245w GaN 🙏🏻. Perhaps it’s safety listed?? We can only hope 🤞
ОтветитьI used the 100 watt 1x usb a 3x usb c model lasted about one year while using only for bike tours charging 3 powerbanks and my phone now use this 200 watt ugreen version to charge my new powerbanks which use 65 watt to recharge instead of 22.5
ОтветитьOd rather get 3 100w Baseus'
ОтветитьIs Ugreen 200w charger able to charge newer Samsung phones with 45w peak? Someone in the comments said that because it only has 3A pps, therfore not going to able to charge at 45w pps Samsung phones. Thanks.
ОтветитьHello sir please can you make video about how to repair power adaptor
ОтветитьHi,

Ответить325$ in europe 😳
Ответитьis there a better 200 watt with usb c pd?
ОтветитьCould u check out the hyper 240w gan charger and battery pack please?
ОтветитьAwesome video
ОтветитьI just placed an order on that 200w ugreen desktop charger // its price drops hugely from 180 ish usd to just under 60 usd, is this worth it or go for something like wotobe 240w desktop charger?
ОтветитьUGREEN should be paying you. I'm buying their charger solely because of your review. Reading the Amazon reviews was ... well, mixed. You made it clear and I feel safe going ahead with the purchase.
Awesome content!
nice review , I am using the Ugreen and I am happy with it , what thermal camera are you using ?
ОтветитьHave you heard of the EGO EXINNO 240W charger from Hong Kong which have an Indiegogo? Looks like an interesting charger plus has an LED display. That would be a good review to watch.
ОтветитьAny chance we'll see the actual current king of desktop chargers, the 245W URVNS 2 x USB-C 100W PD 2 x USB-A 22.5W Charger Station? Very curious as to the build quality / safety of this one.
ОтветитьLooking to grab the ugreen to clear up a bunch of clutter in my cable box. Any other chargers that you recommend that does the same stuff the ugreen does?
ОтветитьWotobeus 200W gained 2-4 CPQS over Baseus 100w and Hyphen X 100W 😒😒
Ответитьby September next year... given the trends.. you will be reviewing 400W chargers 😂 and California will have an energy crisis given the EV push and gas vehicles ban plus increasing Watts in device charging 😂
ОтветитьIt seems navitas has 300 watt gab charger
ОтветитьThank you , very interesting
ОтветитьI have just discovered your Channel by searching Ugreen 200 Watts review .Your review is very very impressive and above my expectations 🙂.You have now a new subscriber .. Merci beaucoup from ... France
Ответитьwotobeus is the one to score high on everything and really bad on one
ОтветитьUGreen nexode does NOT support PPS at 20v 5a, only 20v 3a 60 watts. I found this out the hard way and had to return this for the misleading performance advertisemenmt
ОтветитьPower factor correction question. Does power factor correction cause an adapter to make an audible buzzing sound when consuming a modified sine wave?
ОтветитьCan't wait for the Anker® GanPrime Chargers test!
ОтветитьWhat a Fantastic Unique Content! Exactly what i have been looking for! Big Sub and Like! Glad to own the UGREEEN NEXODE 200W Charger!
ОтветитьI LOVE these videos!
ОтветитьI just bouht a Oneplus 10T which comes with a 125W charger. Do they even make usb-c cables capable of delivering such power?
ОтветитьAwesome review man! You covered everything I was curious about. I'll eventually buy that UGREEN 200W, but $200 is a hefty price tag. Lol. Thanks again, your efforts are greatly appreciated!
