Here in Australia, the decision is much clearer. The K1 is around $800, the BL is $1265! That’s a huge difference. Also, the huge deal breaker for me is that BL can and does steal your intellectual property! If you’re just making models of Yoda, that probably doesn’t matter but if you’re developing commercial products, that’s a massive deal!
ОтветитьMoaning about the noise but you had the door open so it will be quieter than shown in your video
Ответитьams is coming to the K! and MAx next year they are working on it using less filament and the app as sorted out the app
ОтветитьI got burned by Creality in the past. Their Ender 3’s are garbage - they lost customers due to their shoddy quality.
Ответитьwhat CAD-program Mad might use?
ОтветитьThe bridging test, did that print without supports?
ОтветитьWhat about at the $350 pricepoint that they are at right now?
ОтветитьNot ZEE; ZED. Please don't use US English. You have the benefit of being able to speak the King's English so use it!
Ответитьstill better than flashforge
ОтветитьI got K1 for $452.50, just unboxed it yesterday, got a new iterations extruder and everythings runs great. So far so good.
ОтветитьI do like the Ian from the future - I would like to ask Ian from the future a few question and would be great to have the answers before they become public.
I guess I would go for the bambu printer but I will be waiting for them at a sale cause right now they are a bit over my budget just to play around with it.
I own the K1 Max and the print quality wasn’t so great due to tons of ghosting and ringing along with poor first layers due to a bed variance of 1.2mm. I ended up making my own bushing after trying the Creality bed leaving procedure over and over again to get the bed more level. Now it’s at .4 variance. I started using OrcaSlicer and rooted the printer to do proper input shaping. The print quality is ALOT better but still leaves something to be desired since I own 3 BambuLab printers but I needed the larger bed and I’m getting by at this point, to get to this point was a battle due to a ton of quality control issues. For the money I paid I’m not too happy.
Ответитьi DO NOT recommend this printer. 3 days, 4 prints and all i got was clogging and spaghetti. that's after 13 years of 3D printing. I ordered the upgrade kit and other hotends. sadly Creality are ONLY shipping on the 21st September. so it has been standing for 3 weeks now and i bought a Bambu X1C instead. even the little Tevo tarantula i have is more reliable then the K1. Is it fast? YES - benchy in a fraction of the time... i think 2 benchys and 2 RC car parts and that was it - hotend a dud. maybe in a year all kinks will be sorted BUT don't buy it now!! please. oh and yes, not everyone has had issues BUT MANY have. hit and miss. you roll the dice :)
ОтветитьIve owned and loved 5 creality printers, but i cant see a world where i would choose this over a bambu. (same would go for prusa, which ive owned 4). Goodnight sweet prusa.
ОтветитьSince it's running klipper, you should be able to adjust the Z-Offset in the printer config, unless creality restrict you from accessing it. But you might also be able to connect to it via SSH, albeit not really user friendly
ОтветитьThere is such a thing as being to cheap. By that I mean they focused so much on price, that they ended up with small problems and quirks that add up and becomes real annoyances in the long run. And speaking for my self I would much rather pay a little bit extra to get a tool that I can rely on, and not something I have to constantly thinker with.
ОтветитьMy K1 Max, came in just the cardboard box, and as a result the front door arrived smashed. I contacted Creality and they sent a new door, this took about 4 weeks, with a lot of chasing and reminding. I'm not over thrilled by the slicer and printer results. I think I've been getting better results from my CR10s Pro and Simplify3D or Cura, but I bought my K1 for better results for ABS printing, so I hope for better results as the K1 gets dialed in.
ОтветитьThe firmware went opensource yesterday! big change IMO makes it way more interesting.
ОтветитьI have a K1 and can say its beem flawless, only quible is the supports in the slicer are a bit shit, i have printed 3kg of hyper pla so far in 3 weeks.
ОтветитьI pulled the trigger on the P1S because of your review. I seriously considered the K1 as my Ender 3 has been absolutely bullet-proof since the day I assembled it. The refined experience of the P1S really is the "killer app" on the Bambu side of things and can't be understated. I'm in a much more creative headspace in terms of 3D printing thanks to Bambu where I previously viewed my printers as mostly drone-part-makers, now I want to make art with them. I'm quite looking forward to Bambu's announcement on the 20th....
ОтветитьCan you please do UK pricing Ian. Please. You in the UK after all.
Good review. Tempted by this printer. Been running an artillery genius for a few years and find the Bambus expensive.... hmmm
Those push notifications are absolutely a no-go. Would literally not buy the printer specifically for that reason. I refuse to fork over almost a grand for them to shove garbage in my face.
