ARM-based machines also have something similar to Intel ME, called "trustzone", I think we'll need to wait until RISC-V is fully available.

@ (RTP) Privacy & Tech Tips Why? The answer is pretty simple - to NSA, FBI and other shit be able to get remote access to your PC... Look, they doesn't have to get search warrant, becuase they can log in to your pc and serach your pc remotely, without your and anyone permision...

The small hats have been installing backdoors in Intel chips for years now.
I no longer trust that company.

Why should I be concerned about Intel ME if my hardware doesn't support vPro? Remote management seems to be impossible without vPro.

"Intel ME contains the AMT (Active Management Technology) instructions. AMT is a feature of Intel vPro technology."
- TechRepublic

"Intel Management Engine includes AMT. Active Management Technology is a remote management solution."
- How-To Geek

"To enable remote management capabilities, Intel AMT must be provisioned and enabled."
- Intel

"vPro requires a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) cryptoprocessor chip and wired or wireless internet connectivity."
- Laptop Mag
