I never knew the song this was Paroding! Which makes it BETTER! (Or yer name was Prince?) ...LOL
ОтветитьThis video is peak content, and I'm not a bot. It's unstoppable!
ОтветитьI feel like "I could care less" is more an idium than anything else
ОтветитьSo I'm old enough to be out of the main stream now and Al is parodying songs I've never heard. But it's still funny. Party on!
ОтветитьStrong Bad: oh, if you want to be possessive, it’s just I-T-S…
Weird Al: hold my accordion
It's good this is 9 years ago nowadays you would be cancelled for using the word 'spastic'.
ОтветитьTihs sown iz sew gewd
Ответитьif he said the sp word in a uk concert the whole of britain would instantly hate him😂
Ответитьbest lyric video ever! 😂
ОтветитьThis song is the meaning of awesome.
ОтветитьI want to see someone in the comments to break every word crime in the shortest amount of characters.
ОтветитьI love it, my teacher played it in class and i loved it
ОтветитьI know how everyone's talking about the lyrics, but my favorite part is the visuals! All of the little details, like the sentence diagrams, the way the lyrics fit the style of the background, and the text messages at the bottom are like ASMR for my nerdy brain!
ОтветитьI wish he'd have added when people use two spaces after a period.
ОтветитьWhen he says you better use the right pronoun 💀💀 he would never guess what that means back then
Ответитьthis song proves weird al’s superiority as an artist
ОтветитьI enjoyed this far too much 😅
Ответить😂This person who made the video has no capital at the start of their name and the song is about grammer.😂😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьI'm literally beginning to literally think the word "literally" should literally be banned from the English language.
I literally hear someone literally say that word, when they literally don't have to. (I even literally heard Weird Al himself literally say it.)
I literally feel like I'm literally the only person in the world who literally never used that word, unless I'm literally making fun of someone who is.
It's is often on auto correct which makes it even more heinous now.
ОтветитьWe need a Reddit bot that immediately links to this for all the people who cannot write in proper English. If I see one more “should of” or “could of” I’m unleashing Weird Al on the mofo.
ОтветитьWeird Al has a big dic..... lol
ОтветитьI am kind of jealous of Weird Al.
ОтветитьEnding a sentence in a preposition is something up I will not put.
Ответить9 years later and the internet jokes have not aged at all.
ОтветитьI hate word crimes and stupid cliches, like down the rabbit hole, the whole nine yards, I'm good, and dumb words like literally, utilize, and catastrophic.
ОтветитьWhat's with the comma splice at the end--"Never mind, I give up"?
Ответитьlol - "you should hire some cunning linguist" - he is so creative and funny!
ОтветитьI would like to add some more:
There is no fast speed, there is no hot temperature, and there is no speeds, plural for speed is speed, "they move at different speed", this is so simple, how do people who only speak English can say "these are really slow speeds", like, WTF?
Yay word crimes... just great thanks for the kindness
ОтветитьThis came on while I was writing an essay, and whiles it’s helpful for English, I was writing one for history-then I was worrying about proper grammar, sentence structure, and if I was using actual words AND if I was thinking about the correct things for this stinking essay
ОтветитьI'm something of a cunning linguist myself
ОтветитьBut what about when you literally can't get out of bed...
ОтветитьCunning linguist here. You can actually do whatever you want.
Ответить🤘
ОтветитьI even need an editor my 🧠. sometimes oops stalkers everywhere
ОтветитьI am a surrogate 😂😂 stalkers everywhere
ОтветитьDictionary🍆 ;) ;)
ОтветитьIt’s is short for it is or it has.
ОтветитьI should ask my 8th grade language arts teacher to play this
ОтветитьEh hem. Lightening = less heavy. Brighten = more light. Just saying. :-) And it is possible that you literally can't get out of bed. Yes. You can be that incopacitated. Such as when hit in the head with a crowbar.
ОтветитьWould the less/fewer thing also apply to time?
There's a commercial that says "five minutes or less", and every time I hear it, because of this, I shout "FIVE MINUTES OR FEWER!!"I.
