Sure,the Metacycle might be a good bike but,"Buyer Beware", Sondors is an unethical company that will take your money and deliver nothing. They took my money in 2021 and in spite of many calls and emails they have completely ignored me. Storm Sondors is an unethical thief that doesn't care. Don't let them do this to you.

2023 and i actually got this in india for less than 2k usd but on a completely different platform of axial flux motors. too often we are consumed by what it is not to see what it actually is.

That wasted space in the frame could have been a helmet case or storage or even a 2nd removeable battery. Its ridiculous because its there to say Im electric. In fact its ugly and wasted space. For a motorcycle its got zero torque.

Bummer that Sondors couldn't get the funds to really take off. Despite the inflated range figures, there really is nothing on the market which bridges the market gap between between an e-bicycle and an electric motorcycle, a street and highway legal about town conveyance at an attractive price. I hope a better-funded company can fill the void.

Would love to see your take on the production Ryvid. I know the Land has more options to have more battery and more power but the Ryvid seems so well thought out and designed. I’ve watched pretty much all the videos with the CEO explaining how they got to where they got, and it just seems… well thoughtful. But I guess if you’re a Harley guy isn’t what you’re looking for. But what I want is a city bike to toot around Southern California. I want the iPhone of electric motorcycles. It’s not the most powerful but you just don’t have to think about it. It’s just so well thought out and works. I know they raise the price a bit, but I still think it’s a premium product at a reasonable price.

I’ll rather stick with my rollerblades 😂😂😂😂😂

Chinese junk. Front shocks start leaking at 100 miles. Power cables detach from the frame and start rubbing on the rear wheel. Seat isn't cushioned - I'm 180 and the seat goes immediately flat under my ass and now I'm sitting on metal. And now the word on the street is that Sondors will file for bankruptcy and close up shop, leaving zero support for these bikes - as if Sondors ever provided much after-sale support to begin with.

Came back to look at this review. Now that Sondors is in receivership and its financial chaos is in view, it seems likely that more than their marketing was a bit misleading.

for comparison: R&M pedelec, 1kWh battery, 45 kmph max speed and you have to pedal: 9000 USD
this e-motorcycle for 5k is a very good deal.

Batter swap would make E motorcycles viable. Actually, that would make E cars better too.

Man, I got my scooter for $100 and fixed it for another hundred get 59 miles to the gallon with a 2.5 gallon tank. It also costs 6 dollars to fill up which takes about two minutes as opposed to four hours of charging. Just saying.
