I used to fall asleep with my head on the floorboards above the engines while traveling by boat as a kid. The lower my head was the less bobbing and I felt less sick. I would wake up after being worn out from the seas drooling all over myself from deep sleeps. This happened repeatedly and was when I realized the engines had a wonderful traquilizing effect on me.

Nice sounds if the sub is running on batteries and electric motors. Diesels are so loud in that small space you need good ear protection and there's nothing relaxing about them.

Yeah, this does not sound like the engine room. The sound of the engine room is not soothing. But, I REALLY LIKE THIS VIDEO. Great for falling asleep.
