The reason why koridon runs instead of uses his wheels is because the one on his chest is a floatation sack and the second wheel is a tail and since he’s not a robot it would not be possible for his tail to spin and koridon is better

Thinking back months later, even just making the front legs alternate with each other and the backlegs do the same would at least make it look like he's casually trotting or leaping from place to place, using the ground to propel himself. Closest comparison I can think is Wolf Link's midspeed trot. Parkouring around with relative ease would be fitting for an all-terrain legendary, but in reality my Korai Dorai Doo has a very derpy run lol
Also maybe shrink the wheels a bit for ground/air traversal, feel like they'd get in the way. They can poof up when swimming though, that'd actually fit.

ok but like, this makes way more sense and further shows the difference between the past and future that's like, the entire point.
miraidon is a cyborg-if not robot-and thus is very robotic when being used as a vehicle, it's body goes damn near stationary except for the wheels that just spin, it's efficient, probably faster in lore and easier to create, fitting of an artificial legendary.
kiraidon however is a living creature from a time possibly before the wheel was even invented, it bounds through the landscape with it's legs and the big wheel-like things act as flotation devices because it's supposed to be an ATP (all terrain pokemon) so of course it has adapted to be lighter when flying or swimming.
One enjoys travel and is the result of evolution giving it biological traits, the other does it's job and is the result of engineering and picking-the-best-outcome.
and lets be honest, it would be WAY stupider, and not in a good way, if kiraidon's "wheels" just started spinning in it's chest as if they're not attached to it.

Why did they make Koraidon curl it's tail for running? Is it so we get more wheel jokes? Cause the front is just a swelled neck sac thing but the back is a curled up tail.

Gen 9 should have had the starters be the only new Pokemon and just did regional variants instead (I would have said "the starters and the cover legendaries" but we see here how dumb the cover legendaries are). In reality, however, they did the opposite and made tons of new Pokemon that should have been regional variants.

Well they are supposed to be past and future versions of cyclizar which actually runs on its four legs in current time paldea.

Theyre not tires tho. It has bloatable skin flaps like the lizard its based on. And i think it makes more sense for the games theme because its the past form and over time it evolved to use them as wheels like cyclizar and miraidon

I think it’s hilarious that everyone made up the theory of the legendaries of being rideable based on Koridon’s wheels, just to find out they were right but Koridon didn’t use their wheels.

Let's be real, they are both half assed. Koraidon is overall more fitting to the game overall... until you mount it. Miraidon doesn't fit to the game at all, but looks better than Koraidon in bike mode. The Scarlet professor is hotter than the Violet professor. The exclusives are 50/50. Violet's colors are overall better, but the outfits are shit in both games. You cannot catch Pokemon freely like in Legends Arceus. What the hell were they thinking, why does it have to like this!?

After coming back to this video and finishing scarlet, I can officially say that Koraidon is a friend.
