I heard your argument about totally different from feudalism, but I am not convinced.
ОтветитьEven when you own a house in France you have to pay taxes for owning it aka keep paying for rent but to the state 😁
ОтветитьYeah just so glad capitalism did away with that feudalism stuff right
ОтветитьYou did not show gameplay! HUH?????
Ответитьin battle of varna it was 60k of ottoman troops and 80k of crusader troops in total please do not made ottomans look like they take easy clap
ОтветитьBro is the yap master
ОтветитьIf Polish king didn't die in varna, Poland would win and become much more powerful then any country
Ответитьw history lesson
ОтветитьHonestly Skandenberg should be a 7 7 7. If bro went to Greece instead of Albania, we would probably still have a Roman Empire
ОтветитьIm happy to see more of this type of content Ludi :) diversify and evolve!
ОтветитьTbh when I see Vic3 and so on I dont want EU5. It will be bad. Just continue throwing dlc on us.
ОтветитьCountries still didn't have standing armies, though, so a smaller army (with the ability to hire mercenaries) makes sense.
If not, they'd have to do a levy system like in CK3 but I think this is fine.
i just recently got back into my medieval history phase and its the perfect time for finding you talking about this. cant wait for the varna video
ОтветитьAs a Turk, I am proud of the war of Varna. The Crusaders started the war by breaking a truce, and they paid dearly for it.
ОтветитьHe didnt faked convertment and loyalty. He thought that he was ottoman and found later out that he got kidnapped as kid bla bla bla he found smth out. one thing led to another and he rebelled against ottomans. (Albanian version from some ppl in my school who told be that bcs im turkish......)
ОтветитьLove this kind of content
ОтветитьMurad II was a great marshall. War with Hungry, Venice, Polland, Timurids, Karamanids while keeping wallachia and serbia in control is for a chad lord even in EU4.
ОтветитьThe one thing that Christian Europeans couldnt understand that, Ottomans were literally Europeanized nomad Turkomans. And who embraced Byzantium but Muslim charactheristics.
ОтветитьI really love this type of eu4 content, that mix of history lesson on top makes it so much better anyone else agree?
ОтветитьMy friend I have to tell you that conquer of the balkans (include Selanik and Teselya) not the period of Mehmet the second (also known as Conquerer) but Beyazid the first and even Murat the first
ОтветитьActually what you described is more capitalism than feudalism (where the rich, officially by merit not birth, own all of the property) while under feudalism lords owned the land itself.
ОтветитьLeave it to the AI to amass an army that outnumbers the Ottomans by literal thousands but just stand there doing nothing with it.
ОтветитьBu grafikleri nasıl (oluşturdunuz atlı araba vs)
ОтветитьEu4, history, AND socialist propaganda, right at the beginning? Count me in, you got a sub
ОтветитьVery good Video please more of this format
ОтветитьI'm trying to find the mod you used in the end but I can't
Ответитьbtw tho I love this history video
Ответитьnow instead of monthly rent to people who own your land without them having any right to it you have to pay yearly to a government for no reason other than "oh its mine"
Ответитьbased and checked
ОтветитьWish you would stop calling the countries of this time "nation". They were not nations. Nationalism only developed 200-300 years later.
ОтветитьHistorically the crusaders at Varna were outnumbered by the Ottomans 3:1. It is accurate to say that even if the crusade didn't end at Varna it would have almost certainly ended in defeat regardless. Europe was just not interested enough in saving Constantinople.
Ответитьpls Ludi, make more content like this
ОтветитьYo Ludi, purely historical content would be great. You have a very unique and entertaining way of telling stories. I think you would do great next to my favorite channels like HistoryMarche, Fall of Civilizations or Histocrat. I would even hit that sub button (when I do that now my wall is flooded with various eu4 videos, so im not subbing to gamers in general). Greetings from Bohemia.
ОтветитьWe need Lovech survival
ОтветитьSkenderbeg(Djuradj) was SERBIAN
Ответитьreal estate in canada is almost feudal haha
ОтветитьLove it! More like this please! :)
ОтветитьClearly the Crusaders should have taken Mil Tech 4 with a discipline advisor before engaging the Ottomans.
In all seriousness interesting to learn what happened that basically changed history. And it really makes you wonder if one or two things were even a bit different what sort of changes to the outcome would happen. Interesting stuff all around.
the diference between democracy and feudalism
Democracy 20 people who wanted more power vote to murder one man
Feudalism a kid raised to have power makes decitions with advisors who are exsperts
feudalism you give service and taxes in exchange for protection based on duty and honour
Democracy you pay taxes for some politician to vote on how to exsploit u best and may nit even get protection in exchange
Hi Ludi,
Am thinking, as viewership apparently dips a wee bit before the release of a new DLC (I think Zwellik noted this the other day) what would be really useful before the EU4 Domination release would be a "new" top ten mechanics guide. There is going to be a lot of new mechanics, options, and policies/estates in this release and wading through it in the first few runs will be fun but also challenging,
Ciao
some karamanids were expulsed to bulgaria around the rodoppes so they would never be an issue in anatolia again and even today most turks including my family from that area claim descendence from them, at least partially.
ОтветитьDamn Ludi, this was one of your finest content ever. We are all into history in this community obviously, and merging real history content with the game so successfully, you made an awesome video. Thanks, enjoyed a lot. Keep it up!
ОтветитьPukikám, hova mész? Varnai csatàba?!?
