Seems like everything gets changed to force people to play the same way... so many playstyles getting basically removed. You can't buy power pots, you can't invade, you can't backdoor, can't use rituals, etc. etc.
So BORING. Everything interesting or clever is just... removed. Seems to happen with a lot of games.

I first played in season 3 but only a few matches came back next season same thing i did not really start playing consistently until season 5 dont regret it made some amazing freinds playing this game

i started playing when ao kuang was released, the first oddysey was happening and i didn't know what it was by then. icould've gotten archon thanatos :( stopped playing around season 7 oof, i have so many limited skins collected over the years, maybe i should go back to playing it, but i'm a valorant player now T.T

It hurt's and makes me want to play again to watch this video. I started playing back in beta. I can't remember if it was Bacchus or Xbalanque that was the newest god at the time, I'm pretty sure it was Xbalanque when I started, but I also have a vague memory of Bacchus being new, but that could just be from people telling me that while I played. When Thanatos was added I took one look at his kit and said "yep, he's my first Legendary" (this of course was before the diamond skins). His kit was so much more dangerous at the time. his abilities took % of TOTAL health, not current, his 1 took 10% health, his 2 was 5%, his 3 was 10%, and his ult was 15%. They made his 3 regular abilities all 5% of current health and his ult is now 10% of current, but at one time, just to use your full kit you had to sacrifice 40% of your health. Granted, you use one death scythe and you've got it back, let alone if you get a kill during the fight, or have lifesteal. He played so much differently back then, I dominated on him, average 10.5 kills a game, 4.7 deaths, only god I have with more than a 2.0 k/d across all games. 188 games, 102 wins, 86 losses. Got him 1200 worshippers before I stopped playing him though. Of course I subsequently picked up Hel upon her remodel and now she has my highest win rate of 73%. Thanks for the trip through the memories. Kind of want to go play again haha.

I do totally agree with more realistic maps were just in line with huge price pool. Nowadays we have cartoon and pricepool in size of mobile game. I do play Smite for about 12 years... I missed old days when Smite had beatiful streams of Kelly and Bart and Smite had bright future ahead with love, care and being original. Well, sadly we have product which has to be run on mobile (sorry, switch) platform and devs downgrading the game with hand to hand with more and more gamba system. Good years anyways... Smite will allways be close to my heart with those 4k plus hours spent... well spent...
