UKR #145 - Okay guys, at this point I would like to say that.. today is my ANOTHER flabbergasting find, just like what I wrote to comment the last Lybid logo, the full version of which I managed to find later!

In my compilation series, I included the non-complete logo of this studio, thinking that was the only capture to exist. If you look at the ident, it's obvious that it was made in early 90's, judging by the animation and film print.

A long time ago, I read an article on some Ukrainian website about a 1993 documentary on the known Ukrainian statesman and writer; the source there states it was produced by this company, and its logo was revealed on the poster, therefore I believed that it should exist. But, after doing the detailed search, there was no source of film then, and after another long while, I eventually retrieved the aforementioned capture from the 1997 documentary film "А стіл один для прадіда й онука" (And There's One Table For Great-Grandfather and Grandson).

However, as I was going to upload that today, I decided to redo the search (just in case), and this time... the film was finally uploaded! On it, I just couldn't believe that this was surprisingly real! The full logo is finally found after, let's say, a year of finding, and here it is, ready to be shown!

See? This is why Ukrainian logos also rock - certainly, there would be moments when logo hunting brings the best outcome for being very patient (in my case for sure, lol). I'd like to thank whoever posted that rare source online, like honestly, this logo is so special...

From the 1993 documentary "Голгофа Володимира Винниченка" (Calvary of Volodymyr Vynnychenko).

P. S.: Also, here's my plausible theory: since the film was produced by Leonid Onul, it's most likely that the establishment of the studio has to do with him because of his surname matching with the studio's name. This is not a 100% fact, so don't haste by making conclusions. :P

P. P. S.: the fanfare heard here is the excerpt of "1812 Overture" by Piotr Illich Tchaikovsky.

P.P.P.S.: Turns out that the date of presenting this logo was December 21, 1993. This is not made up or anything, you can check this information here (even though it's all in Ukrainian language, see if you can translate it): https://karpenkokarymuseum.kr.ua/kar178_u.html
