V sync on or off?
ОтветитьSo on playing moba games, even a monitor without g sync is totally no problem. Only playing fps game at fast paced is really important for it
ОтветитьIs it possible to turn a non-g sync graphics card to a g-sync graphics card?
ОтветитьIt's interesting the fact that I couldn't see tearing at normal speed. I was able to see it only in slow motion.
ОтветитьDas ist doch Blödsinn die Fps Hz der Kamera macht doch das Bild hier!
Ответитьwhat about with V-Sync enabled vs. G-Sync?
ОтветитьI use a zowie 2546s with a 3090 and play this game on 1600x900 with everything bar AA and Render on low and no gsync. Constant 400 FPS > G Sync
ОтветитьEven if you may not notice it a lot, an 144hz monitor with G-SYNC/Free Sync makes it feel A LOT more smoother than a 144hz monitor without G-SYNC/Free Sync. More worth to buy a 144hz screen with G-Sync/Free Sync (Not V-sync tho).
Ответитьwhat's wrong with me
using 144hz monitor and don't see any stutters and tears without gsync
so no need to pay for that expensive monitors
The sacrifice for gsync is overall liquidity in my experience, makes the image incredible solid but it feel slightly off in terms of smoothness.
Ответить20x slowmotion? amazing so syncing is pretty much unimportant then, bye.
ОтветитьI see no difference without slow-mo. You pay more money to KNOW (but not to see) that the monitor you have is more smooth.
Ответитьu get 2080s or ti no need g sync
Ответитьso the gsync is 2 frames behind lol
Ответитьtbh i dont see a difference between them while playing,
ОтветитьGsync software or hardware is the best
ОтветитьSorry, it's marginal, not worth the $300+ just for the feature.
ОтветитьWanted to see the difference between gsync 142fps on 144hz Vs 300fps no sync on 144hz...
ОтветитьThank you. This helped me make up my mind. I will go with BenQ Zowiexl2411p no g-sync.
ОтветитьHahaha. I don't see any difference!!!
ОтветитьI had HP omen 144hz 9ms G sync nvidia 1060 and I also used Acer predator helios 300 144hz 3ms no g sync, nvidia 1660ti. Guess which was better? HP. once you try g sync it makes difference. At least it made difference to me in shooter games.
ОтветитьCan someone please answer this question i run my game at about 160-240fps it goes up and down should i buy the cheapest 240hz monitor and have g sync off or a 144/165 hz monitor with g sync?
ОтветитьMaybe it's me but 144hz G Sync seems to cause more image ghosting, I paused randomly several times and it seems the G Sync version has more at worst and at best even. I really couldn't find a random instance where the non G Sync had more. That being said there was certainly frame tearing but that's not a big issue at all, it's noticeable at lower frame rates (on 60hz monitors) but really once you get in the 120h fps area with a 120hz+ monitor the latency between each frame is much smaller resulting is less dramatic tearing.
I bought a 144hz monitor two years ago, and I'll be honest it was hard to tell the difference I thought maybe slightly but I felt it could have very well been placebo. A high refresh rate monitor isn't something most will use and instantly see a difference (unless your old monitor had a really bad latency and ghosting was a common problem) less ghosting was really the only thing I could notice after a hour or so using it. However with that said while high refresh rate isn't something you are likely to instantly notice it is one of those things where you don't really notice it (once some experience with it) until you do not have it. People often say the change isn't noticeable at first and I fully agree but most seem to feel going from a 144hz monitor to a 60hz monitor is noticeable and I too strongly agree with that.
I still have my old monitor as a back up second monitor for random what not like Discord but a few times I have decided to use it to game and even at 60hz there was a blatantly obvious difference, the experience felt laggy and choppy 100% no placebo every single time I noticed it beyond a doubt.
So to the folks considering a 144hz monitor (with or without FreeSync/G Sync) odds are you will not notice the difference even after several days it can be hard to justifiably say beyond a doubt there is a noticeable difference (unless you have previously used one) the difference isn't dramatic and it's not very noticeable but I promise you if you are looking to get one, you use it and get use to it than you switch back/play on your old monitor you will notice it than.
In general games just feel laggy/choppy going from 144hz to 60hz even at >100fps on a 144hz monitor isn't all that bad due to the improved latency and less ghosting so if you ever play a game and you simply can't push high frame rates without serious sacrifice to graphics even than a 60-80 fps experience on a 144hz monitor is still better than that on a 60hz monitor due to the decreased latency.
Not trying to run on really but this can be one of those things where it's hard to really understand what you are getting into if you are considering it, while you can watch 1000 videos explaining it you never really truly understand what they mean until you have experienced it so in short
60hz to 144hz monitor arguably not noticeable
144hz to 60hz monitor very noticeable
Is G-sync like freesync?
ОтветитьThis happens bcoz overwatch sometimes send more than 144fps right ? The screen can not refresh fast enough and two frames are displayed at the same time. But if this is exactly the case you have to know that not a lot of games send more than 60 fps anyway, so the problem you are showing here is for games like CSGO or Overwatch only ...
ОтветитьHow many high end games will be at 142 fps??? Hmmm 😪
ОтветитьWhat if you uncap nosync? Does it has faster input than gsync ?
Ответитьi want 144hrtz g-sync vs 144 hertz v-sync, i can t see any diference
Ответить240hz>g-snyc right?
ОтветитьCan ypu do one with freesync
Ответитьgsync o dyac?
ОтветитьVery helpful
Ответитьfor fps games turn it off g-sync no need .
Ответитьyou can make free sync monitor to g sync search and do it for free xD
ОтветитьSo it is 100% worth it then
ОтветитьI have 144h and dont see screen tearing
ОтветитьIntel g sync AMD free sync just little reminder for imbeciles and yes g sync is cool 😎 if you have it and big no no who say I'll better put that money on gpu
Ответитьi have a 1080p 144hz freesync monitor but how is it gysnc compatible? i can enable gsync and it says its compatible
ОтветитьIt should be Vsync vs. G-sync because vsync can get rid of tearing but not stutter.
ОтветитьFREE SYNC NOW CAN DO GSYNC WOTTTTTTTTTTTT
ОтветитьPlease do one where fps suddenly drop from 144 to 90fps and watch gsync remove all the stutter! (best feature of gsync!)
ОтветитьHow about maybe try fast sync does not cost anything extra except 1fps lag
ОтветитьGsync give u big respons time
ОтветитьBy the way, due to the way cameras work, the g sync looks like it has some tearing, while in real life, it does not.
Ответитьu forgot to mention the fact that gsync and vertical syncs are usually making ur sensitivity different and its not suited for high reflexes :)
Ответитьdont have g sync and never do i see tearing its bs you dont need it
ОтветитьG-sync is so amazing I loovvveee it. Anyone with a gtx card should absolutely buy a gsync monitor!
Ответитьwhat is a sweet g-sync spot for 120 hz ?
ОтветитьXbox better we dont worry
