Always thought he was more of a werefox. Cute black button nose, cute ears, nice coloring, even nice smile and calm voice. Not at all a threat 😂

That's a fine way for two doctors to be behaving! Even a man who is pure of heart and says his prayers by night, will become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms, and the moon is clear and bright.

I was looking for this classic movie. Brings back memories of my youth.

What an odd dialog. "But Honey I'm scared. -- I know, but I want the sheriff to know." Fine guy Honey is. Then later, "Pretty bad lacerations Clovey, what's the matter? Wouldn't she kiss you?"

I enjoyed this movie but have to admit I was disappointed the wolfman didn't get more screen time. It seemed to be more about everyone else.

He turned himself in, they had him locked up, and now they accuse him of two more murders? Why not ask the deputy why he was lying on the floor? Why not wonder why the two doctors got into the cell? Why not find the syringe on the floor? What a horrible movie.

Similar to other 50's classics, such as 1957's tragic The Vampire, with John Beal...Neanderthal Man...Monster on the Campus...Lon Chaney as the Indestructible Man...

Saw this in the theater (yeah, I know - don't start), and this was the scariest werewolf movie ever. When the feet in the alley changed places with the oxfords on top of the boots, I got creeped out right then, and the tension didn't let up.

Great soundtrack music.

Yes it was a good movie they left all the traditions of being a werewolf out only when the moon is full wolfsbane and the Silver Bullet

He does take his shoes off. I really like the makeup design. Its minimal. No prosthetics, only hair and face paint. That's the direction Paul Naschy also took in his films. It would have been more effective to use actual canine sounds like in The Wolfman, than human sounding snarling. Still this is a great Big Bear B Movie. Love it.

I'm 57 years old.
I thought l had seen almost every classic Creature Feature.
But l have never seen this one.

I know the films of this era were not known for their scientific accuracy - this film came from the producer of 'The Giant Claw' - but not only were those two amoral scientists jerks and the real monsters, but their quack theory about devolution caused by radiation doomed this poor family man.

After seeing this documentary, I don't see how anyone can doubt about the reality of werewolf forest anymore! Even Phil at Parabreakdown channel has postive proof: werewolfes exist! In werewolf forest! That's where this documentary was filmed! Those be darned werewolfs! Darn!

Why did the little boy have to get out of the car, walk around the front of the car to talk to his mother, who was going to get in the car with him?
