How Hard is ACTUALLY Gaming with a Mouse and Keyboard?

Enjoyed this, and awesome progress! I've been a controller player for over 25 years and literally started using a k&m today to see if I could learn it. It's definitely harder than it looks so I tip my hat to those who have mastered it! I will definitely keep practicing though 😃

When I switched from console to pc it was very confusing I had to open the key menu so many times to see what to press to do certain things and after like 2-3 weeks it got easier practicing is what is most important when learning something new

I actually ever since I can remember I always played video games on keyboard and mouse and when I bought xbox pad or playstation pad or wii it was extremely hard to play, it's just my opinion but you or other people have right to have their own opinion

some games needs customisation and for a console player this is a nighmare. like Baptiste and Echo in Overwatch. :(

I just switch to keyboard , controllers just don’t feel optimal you use only two fingers for the vast majority of the buttons

Playing with a mouse and a keyboard, which is kinda easy for me. But you need to have full control over the mouse and keyboard, so you won't misclick the wrong keys.

Bro i type a lot using a controller. And i used to think itd be easier just to have a keyboard in front of me. I was thinking of a iphone keyboard. Real keyboards are so hard to learn. No one told me itd be hard to learn how to play games with a keyboard. I dont even wana play games at all because of it.

Im only trying to learn m+k because I want to play more mmo’s and since most of them refuse to adopt the controller support of Final Fantasy XIV I just figured I would play on their native control scheme and it’s been awful for my wrist thus far. Gonna keep trying though and see how things progress. Maybe it will get better.

How do you know what mouse grip style you are

You’ll get good fast. 1-2 years of using a mouse is about equivalent to a 5-10 year controller player. Mostly the reason why PC isn’t that impressive and kinda boring to me
