Vietnam did not invent banhmi. The baguette originated in France. It belongs to French. Vietnamese stole it and clamed it their own. not hatred here but pls we deserve some respect.

- In the United States, Chinese restaurants are sluggish, few foreigners eat (except for a few Chinese people).
As for Vietnamese restaurants, it's crowded, full of seats, everyone is waiting in line for an hour to have a seat.
There are Americans, Chinese, Italians, Indians... they bring their whole families, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, dozens of people to eat every day, every month, every time I come to buy, I can see them eating.

Kirtland Airforce Base is less than a mile from this place. I went to Coda Bakery often when I worked there. Easily THE BEST banh mi I ever had! #6, the grilled pork (double meat) was my favorite. They also have awesome salads, noodle bowls, spring rolls, and Vietnamese coffee! Definitely worth stopping in, but be forewarned, they get really busy at lunchtime. Call your order in ahead of time.

My only problem is they close at 5pm and I work until 6 so craving her Tofu also they have bean sprouts,mint,and a killer sauce in their refrig. as you leave. I pour egg whites over it and fry. I am now addicted
