Although I learned a very long time ago that when folk come together to accomplish negativity towards you, that is NOTHING but spiritual warfare.  Which really means, something that was meant to be.  As time fast forwards and you're conscious of all that life has sent your way/understand the reason behind the peoples paths that you've crossed aka your experiences.  You'll realize that the who,  why and whats of all of the above, created a pattern.  So if whatever experience from the past some how finds itself in the future (by way of a whole new cast) to repeat itself, the initial outcome of the 1st experience speaks volumes on the outcome of the second (basically what the first was preparing you for) So although you may be like wtf at how trifling and to what lengths some folk will go to get off on their behavior, their behavior and initiatives doesn't confuse or surprise you like it may have the first time.  When folk realize that one thing doesn't work, they'll revert to another and another and another...........a tell tale sign of manipulation and ill intentions.  Whether it be through bullying (coming together with the intention to break your spirit), whether to make you FEEL insecure, have you second guess yourself and all that YOUR life has taught you thus far, teaming up (coming together in numbers) in their head to break and destroy you, is equivalent to coming together to achieve something great!  They're using the initial intent (energy) that works for good unions/coming together, in order to benefits from the great results it naturally brings.   Often times, these types don't even like each other/feel a negative way about each other (which is how most miserable folk role) but nevertheless will think that this level of chaos and confusion will work in their favor.  I can't speak for anyone, but for anyone that is that thirsty to come together to accomplish something negative against someone that is either innocent or has/had good intentions, it's really is a waste of time because you can't sway or interrupt what's been coordinated spiritually!  I am going to guess that times past....... and the way certain blacks treated those that looked like them and how white folk used and abused innocent families and their offspring in the name of slaving them for their well being, some how repeated itself/was consciously replayed by others.   Being that those who love to oppress others and or get over on whoever however they can, choose to do the same, as they some how feel, they got away with it in the past, so why shouldn't I.   Most folk repeat and mimic the behaviors of others because they feel and think, that they will get away with it as well.
