ОтветитьHow do you change the water? Or is the water filtered?
ОтветитьCold plunges just seem like a cash grab to me. Waste of money product.
ОтветитьDo you have it hooked up to your plumbing so you can drain it?
Ответитьnice, but expensive
ОтветитьWhat about the noise of the pump?
ОтветитьThey said to get more gainz is to do ice bath before you workout and let your workout raise your body temp
ОтветитьDoes it require a 220 outlet or a regular outlet?
ОтветитьI'm considering the Ice Barrel with a Penguin Chiller. Do you think you prefer the Barrel if the Chiller works as well as the Plunge chiller?
ОтветитьCurious how much electric bill goes up or how much it uses. How often do you have to change the water? Do you have to put chemicals in it like a hot tub?
ОтветитьNice microphone
ОтветитьYay for the review. but that is way too much money.
ОтветитьHow tall are you?
ОтветитьYou won’t get electric shock by using a deep freezer if you unplug it while you’re using it 🤷🏽♂️ 😂
ОтветитьIs the tub easily movable when empty? Weight? Debating whether to have it indoors or outdoors?! Just wonder if it has the versatility of being easily moved around by 2 people.
ОтветитьIt's a good design but yea anything else besides white?? They're probably working on that.
Ответить39°C is Not so cold tbh
ОтветитьMan these companies really finessing ppl for 5k to sit in ice water ??
ОтветитьFor the price it’s just not worth it. You can do a much cheaper version with an actual freezer and you will not get electrocuted like he said.
Ответитьrich people stuff. yawn.
Ответить4k for a freezer....
ОтветитьI got the ice barrel and connected a water chiller to it. Pretty easy set up and much more convenient than a big tub
ОтветитьI liked it a lot and very good material.
ОтветитьDidn't realize you have to change out the water and filter about once per month. That's a deal breaker for me.
ОтветитьA little late to the party but as someone that used to ice bath 30 minutes a day in a similar tub. I would recommend icing in the morning and then a warm shower after. I would wait roughly an hour or so before doing any kind of training after to allow muscles to warm up and avoid tears and injury . I wouldn’t do it before bed as it made it very hard to sleep after because my body would feel insanely hot due to the reaction from cold, plus I’d be shivering for around 30 minutes after my bath.
Ответить43 degrees is quite hot
Ответить5 thousand for that? Might as well get a damn jacuzzi.
Ответить$1200 for a plastic barrel is ridiculous!
ОтветитьThey definitely need to add more colors, you put this on your back deck and you've become that weird neighbor with weird items like fridges, toilets, etc... in your backyard.
ОтветитьNice point about the laying down . The next up ; plunge barrel
ОтветитьCold Plunge needs to design a barrel version!!!!!
ОтветитьWhen are you going to review the BridgeBuilt Phoenix?????
Ответитьthis is great for back pain. i live in sweden, by the sea, so i do it the salty, windy way but if i lived in a warm climate i would def look into this. air drying is the right way, it lets the body self adjust / counteract.
ОтветитьI wouldn't recommend this to anybody, just get a chest freezer.
ОтветитьWhy did Jason decide that he would go for the XL version if he could? I'm highly debating on the XL versus the regular size, and I really need help deciding. It is because of his actual body size? Or is it just personal preference?
ОтветитьThat's the XL?
ОтветитьI built a shower / steam-room into my master bead room and I just turn the shower to the coldest setting (multiple nozzles ) after sitting in the steam for 20 minutes and then blast myself in cold water works great !
ОтветитьAgree suana
ОтветитьIm going to get one. I take 5-10 min icebath every morning 2-3 hours before gym. Im lifting 2 hours every day and by taking the ice bath in the morning before my workouts i have not experianced any decline in muscle building/strength. In fact i have gained muscle/strength. This is probably beacuse i can go hard every day beacuse of the ice bath recovery.
ОтветитьSeems like such a waste to spend $5k when I can literally just take a cold shower instead. Where I live the water gets pretty cold, especially in the winter so its nice because if you take cold showers every day your body adapts to the cold naturally through the seasons. I'd highly recommend people just take cold showers for an extended period of time before purchasing one of these just to see if you can hack it. My record was about 6 months and keep in mind when I shave my legs and wash my hair I can be in the tub for like 30 minutes at a time in freezing cold water, so my pain tolerance and dedication to this was quite high for a while. I also recommend doing some sort of exercise before taking a cold shower. My favorite time to take cold showers was right after coming in from a run. Even in the winter, it feels refreshing to be cooled down after a nice run.
ОтветитьChest freezer $500. Needs to run 2 hours per day. Unplug before u jump in if you’re scared. Or go spend 5 grand on a bath tub water chiller
ОтветитьGuy from Siberia buys plunge bath: The hell are they talking about? It's scolding hot!
Ответить5K $$$$$ cha ching NO WAY
Ответитьor... take a cold shower i guess.
ОтветитьCoop, do an affordable good quality sauna brand next
ОтветитьReason I stopped watching these videos is sponsorships. I'm sure the company already gives them the stuff and they pay him to review the items so why does he need a sponsor. I will continue to not watch
Ответитьit costs HOW MUCH?!
ОтветитьMy jiu jitsu gym just got one and I love it. I was using after each class consistently for about a month. I could definitely tell a reduction in inflammation, having a better mood, and it gave me better sleep. I haven’t been to class in a couple weeks and my aches and pains are back and I’m back to the melatonin/ibuprofen cocktail every night to sleep. The plunge tub is awesome and makes a huge difference.
ОтветитьIce baths immediately after exercise is not good for hypotrophy training but the after 3-4 hours was a different study regarding recovery percentage of athletes the next day which showed at least 90ish% effective than not doing an ice bath. As far as I've seen there has been no study regarding how long an ice bath would be effective for recovery but still not hinder hypertrophy training. If anyone knows link me if I'm mistaken as I'd appreciate it.
