I really wish they made Venom joined in the battle between the Spider-Men and the sinister 6 (well sinister 5, since Doc ock is already cured) and I would’ve gave this movie a 9.5/10 rating but since he didn’t, I gave this movie an 8.5/10 and it made no sense bringing venom in this movie for nothing only to just leave a piece of the symbiote behind and who knows what will happen next if anyone gets in contact with symbiote. That’s why I’m dying to know when will the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland will happen but thanks the whole strike thing, all the MCU movie are delayed till the following year which sucks I know but what can we do about it. But in the end of the day, it’s Hollywood’s responsibility to make sure their paying the celebrities with the amount of money they deserve.

To those who don't know, Venom was supposed to be in this movie just a little longer. The writers said we were supposed to be seeing him on his way to New York. They said we would've saw him stuck in the Lincoln Tunnel. The only scene they really had in mind for Venom was the battle at the Statue of Liberty. While there, it would reveal how Venom's hive mind has the memories of the symbiote that bonded to Tobey's Peter. With that, after Tobey is stabbed by Goblin, Venom would heal Tobey. Honestly, that makes more sense to how Tobey would survive being stabbed. Would've bee interesting to see Tobey's reaction upon seeing a different version of Eddie Brock. In addition, Andrew would say "This is not what I had in mind with fighting an alien."

What bugs me though is they said only people who know Peter Parker is Spiderman got transported to the MCU, so why is Venom here? And does that mean MJ from the Raimi Trilogy got transported too?

Another comment here already said it, but I wish Tom Hardy’s Venom would officially become MCU canon. Even if it was a variant. His performance as Eddie AND Venom is so infectious and entertaining that I fully believe, with better writing, he’d become a fan favorite very quickly!

I also hope that they keep the Symbiote accurate to the original story from the secret wars comics. Sony actually got it right that the Symbiote didn’t originally make the host irritable or hostile. In the comics it actually made Peter very tired, and would borrow his body when he was sleeping to continue Spider-Man’s mission (as a way to make it’s host happy). Peter didn’t reject it until he realized it was a living organism, and was using his body to continue fighting crime while he was asleep.

Once rejected, the Venom Symbiote grew resentful and angry since it takes it’s bonds seriously. It then sought revenge and bonded with another guy that wasn’t very fond of Spider-Man/Peter Parker: Eddie Brock. I hope they reserve a plot line for this story in their Secret Wars movie that can carry on into Tom’s next solo Spider-Man film!

I also hope Andrew can be in Sony’s third Venom movie, so my boy can finally fight his alien!

Why did they have Venom set in another universe instead of just having in the same universe as everyone else?

Plot twist, the symbiot joins the bartender, they then hunt down their eddie brock for not paying the bill.

I love how it seems that absolutely NO-ONE noticed the trace of Venom left behind, signifying that Spider-Man 4 is going to have Peter meeting Venom.

So this is the sixth member in no way home😂😂

The thing I'm most curious about is whether they'll stick to how Symbiotes are portrayed in the Sony movies where they have their own separate personalities from its host or if it'll be like how they're normally portrayed; a version of their hosts with none of the morality while being a not-so subtle metaphor for drug addiction

Here's a question: Why the hell is this scene in the Spiderman movie?????? This Venom never met a Spiderman or a Peter Parker so how did he get pulled over from the spell that was about people who KNEW Parker was Spiderman?

At the post credits scene of Venom 2 they ended up at the MCU.

Post credits of no way home they went back to their own demantion.

Venom is not in the MCU it has its own demation.

I actually love that they never got teleported to NYC. Sure, I would've love to see them interacting with the other characters, but the fact that they get teleported here? And get teleported back home without needing any help from Peter? Feels like it shows that Venom and Eddie really don't need any help at all, and the "help" that they might've gotten is Venom separating from Eddie but it never happened. Love seeing that they got no problems for Peter to solve.

This probably isn't their intentions and they were just throwing in a gag of Eddie and Venom getting caught up with all of the MCU lore, but it's a nice little theory that I like.
