We had a major wind storm last Monday. Unheard-of 93 mile an hour winds. We have a camp that burned 2 yrs ago. We bought an Amish building last summer. It is 7 miles on a dirt road. We cant get insurance on it because the road is not plowed all year round. We must have cut down 50 trees that had fallen. All the way in I was hearing that I needed to prepare myself for what I was to see. When we got there, exhausted from rolling off 8ft logs off the road, we saw what looked like an explosion. Three huge pines went right thru the middle of the camp. The whole area was like a hurricane went thru. Trees everywhere. My daughter in heaven needed to be giving me a stronger warning. I was not prepared to lose $50,000 in a blink of an eye. My husband is 78 and I am 66. I guess we can pitch a tent. Life goes on. I sometimes think I am cursed. Is there such a thing? Are some people just bad luck? I had a brand new car kick out of gear and go into a river. Totalled it. We had a brand new garage we paid to have built. It collapsed. The contractor took off. Nowhere to be found. My son was crushed by a 12 ton roller in road construction, my daughter was in 2 car accidents got addicted to drugs and then alcohol. Tried to help her for 35 years, she died Nov. 9, 2023. My son's trailer burned where my childhood home burned. I had three car accidents. A deer ran in front of me, a girl speeding getting to work hit me. Black ice put me off the road. My grandson that I adopted and raised for 15 years died in a vehicle accident. Many, many more. I am still standing. Not sure why I would pick this journey in life.

I have been slowly finding peace and understanding through your videos. I lost my husband 4 days ago to terminal cancer. I watched him in hospice. He was 31, and we have 2 small children, 6 and 4 months. I have so much anxiety because I have been with him for 8 years and my husband had such a huge impact on all of our lives. He did so much for us and I miss him every second. I have no idea how I am going to navigate life and raise our kids alone.

My grandma loved dragonflies specifically blue and green her favorite ones. I went to her grave yesterday and there was only that dragonfly and it was windy and it hit me in the face when I was going the wrong direction I noticed it wouldn’t stop trying to lead me there no matter how hard the wind hit it. And I had a dream abt my other grandma who jus passed away that I was pushing her in a wheel chair and getting her a mars bar from this vending machine and she said oh I love you and smiled at me. I woke up told my dad abt the story and he said she always said I love you like that and mars bars were her favorite and he jus lit up.
