I was looking for this song for ages, but I couldn't remember any lyrics to Google and I drew a blank when humming the melody. It just turned up in a documentary about the Manic Street Preachers! (I recommend the documentary, BTW, and putting "Manic Street Preachers documentary" in the search bar of YT will find it!)

Pills & Thrills was a great album I remember buying it in about 1990.
I've spent a bit of time re-buying CDs I owned the first time around....Stone Roses, Wonderstuff, Ocean Colour Scene, and a few others.....I should never have gotten rid of them, now I can see myself buying Pills & Thrills again 😆✌️

I was born in 1963, not 1973. Had I been ten years younger, I would’ve been right into all this. As it is, I had a mortgage, three kids and a fcuking career to pursue, so wasn’t allowed out ffs. Having said that, I grew up with Ska, Rocksteady, Fusion, Punk, Post-punk, Dub reggae, Parliament, and Acid jazz, so maybe I’m the lucky one after all? Don’t forget, Hip-hop wouldn’t have existed without the Sugarhill Gang... Slightly envious of the culture, nonetheless...

If they started playing this in B&Q, I'd be more inclined to buy their overpriced cr*p!
