Please remove the music in the background is very distracting. It doesn’t tell me anything. No one‘s talking. I want technical information only I don’t know why so many companies and system putting music in the background. I think it actually talks about the set up. It doesn’t so please stop doing it thank you.
Ответить% years later, and I can't get this to work either. What a convoluted mess of instructions that don't describe properly what a person needs to do. I came here and this video is silly stupid.
ОтветитьThe instructions are useless. I’ve had three techs trying to reset the internet because I changed providers. The live chat with the website tech didn’t work either. If I hadn’t paid so much for it, I’d throw it out the door!

ОтветитьI discovered it would connect quickly on just battery power, and it stayed connected. When I plugged in the a/c power it would freeze up or would not connect at all. I checked the output of the a/c power adapter and it showed the output at over 8 volts. I used another power adapter that was outputting at 5 volts(it should be 4.5 volts} and so far, for 24 hours it is working and has stayed connected.
ОтветитьIf I had not had this unit for so long before unboxing it I would return it. WIFI setup instructions are useless. Can't tell if it's the 5g network. Just need to shitcan this one and buy another product.
ОтветитьThe instructions on this video and those that are included leaflet that came with my updated 06100M WIFI display are the worst I've ever seen, both are totally WORTHLESS, they don't work!
I'm technically very savvy and was looking forward to upgrading my display to a WIFI enabled from the standard display. The 06100M display finds my 5 way sensor but attempting to connect the display to the WIFI and to the Acurite app has been an exercise in frustration. This is December 2022, this should be straight forward and simple. Also, the Acurite website says that their support is done by chat, no calls, so I guess my frustration will continue. Acurite, how about step by step instructions.
The device will not talk to "MyAcurite". I have verified the device is connected through the network by validating its connectivity in the router admin software. It still will not allow me to add the device to MyAcurite or Weather Underground.

For some reason I cannot stay linked to my Wi-Fi! On the system page it says no Internet! I reset the router and it did recognize it but no communication to Wunderground- there it displays “off line” - 🙄

ОтветитьThe app is useless. You go to add a device under device profile add the device name country and zip code and it does not let you progress through the set up process past this step

ОтветитьSetting up this thing is difficult. To say your instructions suck is an understatement. Your site articles are on set up are incomplete leaving out even basic info like where to find the device ID number and when it doesn't work, you have no useful technical support, no 800#, and your "Live Chat" ISN'T LIVE! I'll bet you return rate on these things is through the roof. There is ZERO excuse in 2021 to have to spend an hour trying to get something like this work and your company not having decent tech support. I Came very close to boxing this thing up and sending it back to Amazon and getting a Davis... Whoever is in charge of writing your "instruction manual" should be fired and whoever is in charge of writing the instruction on your "help" articles, should also be fired. Hire some 3rd party who knows how to write clear instructions to redo the website ASAP. This is too nice looking a unit to have people sending it back because YOU can't create CLEAR DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS! Then Hire a 3rd party to create a tutorial video(s) that is actually useful and walks a user through those steps unlike this one that is equally WORTHLESS in helping someone set up their unit on wifi and get the ap to work. Very Frustrating...

Ответить.It does lean forward about 30 degrees as the clothesline it is attached to is rusty and will probably break off before years end
