I just started this week with my first injection of .25. I'm 5'6, 158lbs, but my goal is 140lbs. The nurse also started me with a B12 shot, she gave me a list of foods to avoid, to drink 64oz of water everyday and to strength train for 30 mins 3x a week. She did warn I would be nausous around week 2. Another nurse in the office was on Ozempic for 3 months and lost 40lbs. I'm super excited for this journey. I know people will read this and say I'm not that big, but I'm use to being 140lbs and I don't feel comfortable at my new weight.

I've been on it for 5 weeks, the side effects are hard on me, on the day I take the shot I get severe headaches and nausea. It usually last 2 days. That was .25 when I got to .5 I've been sick for 4 days straight I feel like I have the flu. Hoping these effects go away.

Anyone have some tips on side effects? Little anxious.

I’m a type 1 diabetic with PCOS (which causes insulin resistance), and after trying and trying to lose weight and only managing to lose and gain back 30lbs, and trying unsustainable diets, my endocrinologist is wanting me to give ozempic a try. I’m nervous about it, but also kind of excited and hopeful.

INULIN POWDER. Raises our GLP-1 hormone which is responsible for weight loss, exact same thing as ozempic. NO SIDE EFFECTS.

Thank you. I've been on Ozempic about a month. I have been type 1 diabetic since age 17. I am now 67. My blood sugars have always been very high (200-300s). My sugars are now in range about 80% of the time!!!! The side effects are I'm tired & my hair is falling out. But I did lose 9 lbs. so that's good. My body makes 0% insulin, so I have been on 2 types of insulin all my life (24 & 4 hour) but that didn't help because of my insulin resistance. I love this stuff!!! 💖 Can't wait to see the weight come off & my sugars stable out.

I am going to start it. Just diagnose with stage one diabetes 2 my a1c is 6.7 and weight is 90kg. I have high cholesterol and fatty liver my doctor said it will improve everything. No other medication only ozempic. Unfortunately my insurance doesn’t cover it because my a1c is less than 7. This is how it works in Saudi. But luckily the price is not very high here I got it for 400 SR which is around 120 US dollar without insurance. I am planning to use it for three months as my doctor said that it will reverse fatty liver diabetes and cholesterol and after that I will be able to leave it and continue my gym and diet I just hope it doesn’t have rebounding effect and I don’t get my weight back again

10lbs in 2 months is not enough to me. That’s 5lbs a month. I think it’s great that it helps with appetite suppression. But it seemed like she was losing weight pretty well on her own she was able to get down 6 pounds by herself. I’m confused. I don’t see what the hype is about.
