Art is subjective, what is amazing for some people, it is not for others.
ОтветитьTheir should be mostly women in this video. I know I'm not that great as an artist and unknown but women should be dominant
in this video 😢
Barely a woman mentioned? Where is Joan Mitchell?
ОтветитьOMW! Who choose these artists???????? Proof of yet again money laundering through critiques???? Ridiculous!!!!!! I know artists that can actually paint and sculpt!!! Art is becoming a joke!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ответитьunsubscribe....
ОтветитьA lot of gimmicks
ОтветитьMissing women in here..
ОтветитьI just watched the video and I was surprised to see that Pierre Soulages (He died one year ago...) was not in the list. Good video nevertheless
Ответитьart is 🔮 science is alchemy is a visionary 🎨🧙♂ art. However, when ignorance is strength and war is peace art is put aside and commerce 👜 and economy ✍ become the merchants of Venice art the naufrage ship and the artiste a future victim on the crucifix✝🕎 leading to an enslaved population rather than freedom that the artist hoped for the population. 🐕🦺
ОтветитьJasper John’s is definitely not creative, neither is Sean Skulley
ОтветитьThe buyers have more dollars than sense.
ОтветитьHow many white men can be featured?
ОтветитьOh sorry two women artists really!
ОтветитьNot one woman artist are you kidding me?
ОтветитьBanksy??
ОтветитьGlad to see Hockney but where was Banksy?
ОтветитьMy boyfriend says that these people should all be house painters. He says that they are all second rate. He is a knuckle dragging Neanderthal and I love him for it!! He is an old fashioned savage who believes that artists should actually know how to draw and paint. Others don't understand him. They say" how passe".
ОтветитьThe most famous painters today are all white people?
ОтветитьI got healed of schizophrenia!!! I just prayed!!!
Ответитьthe music is stupid loud, can't even hear your chatter
ОтветитьOnly 2 women 😢
ОтветитьOne woman.
ОтветитьReally wish there was a human narrating these videos! The AI voice is so impersonal for this kind of content.
ОтветитьNabil nahas ,Damien hurst , i dont believe that classification was true
Ответитьmost all of them older then me so that is comforting to know i still have time to create. yes alot of politics in the art world. aspiring to be famous is poison as far as i am concerned .it will stifle your creativity. some of the artists who achieved mass popularity were not looking for it. so we all have to just do what we do and let the chips fall where they may and if it was meant to be it will happen .if not your still valid as an artist. if your an artist and you have never showed your work in a public place you have no clue as to how many parasites are out there feeding off your work . all the fees and rules and restrictions and the conformity go against a true artist nature . we are all here looking at 20 artist in a sea of MILLIONS .
ОтветитьFor all the critics here: do NOT forget, that theses dudes stated with GREAT paintngs (like Picasso too). When o l d and established, they can SMEER what they WANT ! Thats their reward. So you have to judge the WHOLE work of every artist . . . and not only the most recent one . . .
ОтветитьThe hands of the painter speak and the eyes of the world listen. ..
ОтветитьAs someone who has been studying art and history of art for 40 years, most of these artists are sub-par or mediocre to say the least. Scully is basically a Malevich wannabe who imparts nothing new for the fame he is granted.
ОтветитьWhere's Laurie Lipton?
ОтветитьMost of these works are embarassing, obviously
ОтветитьOutdated-hickney has gone much further
So old, tired white males. Yawn.
And only two female artists... nothing has changed for centuries.
ОтветитьSuch ugly art. I can see why the new GenZ is loving and bringing back figurative art.
ОтветитьI can't tell you how much contempt I have towards most of these so-called artists, only Ritcher and Hockney deserve praise the rest are impersonating through stubbornness to give their paintings character. Paintings should evoke, not the stories and hardships the artist has claimed to have endured. None can hold a brush to the likes of John Atkinson Grimshaw. Art has lost it's touch and has been seized by the wealthy to enjoy.
ОтветитьIt was a nice attempt, but the British accent, the Jazz music, and the repeated use of the word "oeuvre" do not achieve the goal of dignifying this crap art.
ОтветитьI really like your channel, but I have to say that it is so sad to see a list of almost exclusively white men. Where are the women and the artists of colour? I know this list wasn't made up by you, but it's super depressing.
ОтветитьPure garbage!
ОтветитьTwo many germans, and all 20, are not so good...
ОтветитьGerhard Richter, William Kentridge (also for his films) and Imi Knoebel are my favorites on this list.
ОтветитьO.K. so I'm a Philistine.
This "art" is the biggest hoax ever propagated onto rich fools who are deservedly parted from their money!
Make a better list with more women and people of colour
Ответить#4. William Kentridge, is the only one that appeals to me.
ОтветитьTo become a great painter is it necessary to be rich??
ОтветитьToo many old white men
ОтветитьOld White Men... You see, fame is just the reproduction of a certain kind of western white classism... Thanks for the video! It proves me even culturally!
ОтветитьFor me Gerhard Richter is the freest artist because of the different styles he has chosen to create. Inspiring and liberating.
ОтветитьHockney is the only credible painter in this list, genius! So he should be looking down on this pretentious rabble!
ОтветитьNice to see people at least making a living!
