Why are the map screens, which rely on total RNG included in speed runs? If tuns can be timed to the frame, certainly these could be removed.

I don't see why you wouldn't try to get good at slide speed in 1-2. It's right at the beginning of the run, not a grind killer.

I had a Nintendo NES and it took me and my friends almost a day to finish that game and we only did it once in our lives, it was amazing. 4 of us playing all day long!

I had a strange glitch happen to me while playing with the stone statue tanooki suit. During one of the Boomboom fights on the second hit, I used the stone statue ability and it caused Boomboom to glitch through the floor, resulting in a 2 cycle boss fight. I don’t know how it happened because I was playing casually but it did happen, and I don’t know how.

I didn't know you could warp while on the world screen, so I always played until I beat wold 1 and then I warped to world 8 :)

Having played and finished this game as a kid in the 90s, I can't believe people have mastered it to this degree! SMB 3 is not an easy game.
