Alot of the roms I download always seem to be missing files, almost everyone on of them. What is a site that has all the proper rom files to run games?

I've been worried that my games I've been collecting since I was 10 years old in the 80s would not be carried forward into the future. TY for showing me that indeed, the internet has archived it. History is everything.

But I am not going to download that file. I am going to hit cancel.

There is a sort of ongoing legal battle where Publishers are threatening and suing the owners of Rom websites. Emuparadise was by far the best site for years, with nearly any rom available with no viruses, no fake links ect. They have disabled all their links. Unfortunately half of the sites that seem ligit are not, its a good place to get a virus, you should be extremely suspicious of any site that claims to let you download roms.

i love my country and not using illegally downloaded roms, thank you for warning me of this very unpatriotic and terrible site.

Have you done a video on how to selectively combine ROMs from two different images? Trying to compile roms from raspberry Pi SD card and an RG 353M SD card.

theres also a way to get them from the old websites that got shut down. apparently according to some nerdy pc guys on a forum (wish I coulf remember the forum it was on, and the site they were descussing) the owners of the site had to disable the download buttons due to legal action. but the data was still accessable through some web browser tricks and you could still downlaod all the roms on the site. if anyone knows more about this let me know. the site was one of the most popular rom sites back in the day about 10 years ago.

It's great to know that this site has archived so many amazing titles, but I'm still none the wiser as to how to download them. Oh well, as long as it's all documented in an innocent manner as illustrated, that has to be a good thing. I'm going to just carry on not knowing how to access these roms.

I will say Nintendo Ninjas, do not worry I will only download games for 2 reasons 1, I already own the game and want to explore more ways to play such as randomizers, or 2... because YOUI WON'T RELEASE THE GAMES AGAIN, especially something Japanese exclusive from like 2-3 decades ago like Fire Emblem Binding Blade or Mother 3, or that scalpers are taking advantage of also of which Fire Emblem is a part of like the Radiant Duology (of which seems more criminal, even if there are no laws against it).

VimmsLair is also pretty good! That’s where I REDACTED all my roms! They still don’t have a selection of DS or 3DS but there is still a lot being offered. I’d strongly recommend it!

I’m a huge fan investigating archives and currently I’m fixated on rom archiving. This has been fun and informative. Nice to see some archiving sites that have trustworthy reliable information on Roms, rather than being bombarded with pop up ads or malware

I didn't download roms a long time ago, but if I did, I would have used a program called winrar to open rom files. Would such a program still be needed to open such files or has it long been a antiquated way of going about playing such roms?
