The Stages of a Terraria Player

Stage 7: 2000+ hours (you may have finished the game on multiple platforms since release)
Stage 8: 3000+ hours (you may have finished all major mods)
Stage 9: 5000+ hours (you 100% played through it during all major updates releases)
Stage 10: 7000+ hours (you 100% master mode multiple times with your besties and maybe tried to mod it yourself)
Stage 11: 10.000+ hours (you're a master modder.. or you're juste a mad lad)
Stage 12: 15.000+ hours (you never played minecraft)
Stage 13: 20.000+ hours (you probably never played anything else since 2011)
Stage 14: 30.000+ hours (you don't even know other people still exists on Earth)
Stage 15: 50.000+ hours (I hope you're rich at this point and win your life by playing the game)
Stage 16: 75.000+ hours (you probably didn's saw your family during the last 12 years and 100% every mods in existence)
Stage 17: 100.000+ hours (if you're there you probably played since the game's release 23 hours a day, you finished everything there is to do in vanilla and modded)
Stage 18: 150.000+ (You're somewhere during 2040+ or you played the game for at least 18 years straight, you may just be a mere soul processing through a computer and you let your physical body behind just to play the game)

Personally I started terraria off with my friend on mediumcore (world difficulty), then we both got confused and thought “Hardmode” was just another way of referring to Expert difficulty. So we agreed to make a new world and promptly got our asses thoroughly kicked by king slime and the goblin army (I died to it like 10 times at least).
Now we’ve both just defeated skeletron in the same Expert world and we’re preparing for WoF. Wish us luck :,>

It’s insane to me that you were able to get my phase. I’m one of the people in the off and on phase, however my on phases are more like 2 months instead of 3 weeks.

I play terraria on Xbox so no mods for me!

idk my hours but ive been playing on it since it realased on xbox360 back when golem was final boss then went to pc and then mobile

what if u do one world to try all the modes to learn even junry classic or mediumcore and hardcore what if u try up to the last settings to do expert or something

I just started playing Terraria about a week ago and I have a bout a full day played

my first ever play through, i collected all the banners, got every single achievement, got every trophy, painting, weapon, pet and any collectibles. Did the run as a ranger only and on expert mode

I have 4526 hours and I just beat moon lord

I have around 1400 hours across all platforms and I still haven't really tried any major mods like calamity. I have loaded up worlds with those mods, but got bored instantly and left. I guess I prefer the (mostly) vanilla experience. Also I'm a summoner main😎

ive had hundreds of hours of terraria but I can never finish it not that its hard or boring its just I never manage to finish it for some reason I really want to I have so many world just not any completions.

i didnt actually beat the game tho i have 200+ hours.. probably because i spent something like 100 hours teaching my friend how to play.. aand i always play on expert mode

i have all the achievements except for dead mans chest one

I currently have 107 hours in the game and i beat it on classic mode the first time, and recently i just finished it on expert mode. It was because im way better at the game than i was in classic mode, i knew what accessories i needed etc, but my first classic experience was way harder than the expert mode after. No bosses took me more than 5 tries, didnt really have trouble with anything. So right now im thinking about playing calamity, since the base game doesnt feel that challenging (+ i wanna be cool too)

I have 300+ hours and I still haven't beat the game. What a stupid list.

Been playing since Xbox 360 edition 1.1, beaten the game 6 times, 3 times on calamity, and probably have 1k hrs and can confidently say that this game is in my top 3

I've played terraria when it came out on the xbox 360 then on ps4, then on ps5....I don't want to think how many hours of the time between that I've spent on this game

Ive played ALOT but ive NEVER played in jorney, normal, expeet mode i ALWAYS play master mode

is it a problem that i have over 1000 hours but have never beaten the base game solo, well i could seeing that i beat infernum moon lord but i just havent

Me personally, I have about 720 hours across PS4 and pc modded. This has left me with an insane amount of knowledge and I’ve beaten calamity death mode for every class plus other mods. I’ve got worlds dedicated to builds and other fun activities. Not quite all the achievements (I’ve never gotten round to turning in all the angler quests but I’ve been having fun along the way)

Sadly im in this stage 6 where the only thing making me not play is the fact that playing alone now seems too repetitive, but im always happy to start a new playtrought

Apparently, i've played 150 hours of terraria. Farthest i got was up to wall of flesh.

i have 601.1 hours in terraria and 130 hours in tmodloader

i love Terraria and i spent 873 hours and like the calamity mod sooo much but.. my tmodloader stopped working and now i am playing vanilla terraria

my total playtime is 24 hours and i beat the game on expert mode and classic mode and know almost everything about the game (i didnt watch spoilers until i got to hardmode)

I have 800 hours in this game and I didn’t even do one fishing quest. Still don’t have the achievement

ngl i have 250 hours and ive yet to ever beat the game, i play all my runs on expert and i used to stop playing everytime i entered hard mode. I now am back into into being further in than i ever was and developed an interest in fishing rather than focusing on speed running the game

i have over 500 hours in the game, but i play like i have 1000. also went into terraria blind basically as the only content i saw of the game was when the game was new and all we had was prehard mode so not like it counts. thought about the content creator thing, but no idea what i would even do if i did

I started playeing with expert mod, and my second was with calamity mod, then i stopped playing, and then again started to play master mod... And i have friend with 1700 hours in terraria...

Been playing since 2011/12 and I have over 8k hours total. Only 200 of that bein xbox the rest being PC, and only about 200 hours modded. I love Terraria vanilla that much.

When friend first convinced me to buy terraria I thought it was garbage for like an hour.

We actually started on expert mode too, cos he said it would be too boring on normal.

I actually started this game from master mode cuz i wanted a challange, and whenever i boot up a classic mode world it just feels like im using cheats how easy it is

I remember the first time I played expert mode. Back when 1.3 first came out. My heard was verging on shooting out of my chest when I was fighting the expert mode eye for the first time too. My heart rate hasn't been as high since.

I now have over 2000 hours of playtime under my belt so Im pretty much a veteran haha

May I ask how do I count it, because I play 1.2 to 1.4 in mobile version ?

i have 928 hours, i already got all achivements, beated hardcore mastermode, and in today days i am trying to beat hardcore mastermode for the worthy
