Has this video made you want to give track cycling a go?
ОтветитьCan i join you guys ❤ please
ОтветитьWhat about a new channel TCN (track cycling network)
ОтветитьWhat are you waiting for?
ОтветитьI’m 5”5 height what size bike
ОтветитьYippee! I've just seen an outdoor velodrome 30 minutes ride from home. Been past it no end of times, but just thought it was part of a 5 aside complex.
ОтветитьThere are two outdoor Velodromes in Melbourne which anyone can use, just ride in and go. Was greatly appreciated during lockdown - I did many hundreds of laps on my gravel bike as we were limited to a 5km from home travel limit.
ОтветитьI absolutely loved this video, I’ve been thinking about going to a velodrome for a few weeks now, and then randomly your video popped up. It’s a great help and I’m booking in to go to the Lea Valley velodrome in London
ОтветитьRacing in a velodrome on a lowracer with tail fairing was quite an experience :-)
ОтветитьWhen is Manon introducing "Freddie the beginner" to track cycling?
Ответитьi use 50t chainring -16 free wheel track bike everywhere
also on climbing
Not ridden a fixie much and never when clipped in. i think i need a whole video on the stopping and clipping out bit
ОтветитьI’d like to see how you clip in and out of the petals. I don’t think I can rotate my foot to unclip while still petaling.
ОтветитьIs no one going to mention Manon on how incredibly hot she looks when she is sitting on the track?
ОтветитьWas thinking that Côte d'Azur is a silly name, then I remembered it's called a Velodrome.
ОтветитьI loved my taster session in Manchester a few months ago and I am looking forward to being able to do another one! 😊
ОтветитьUhmm hey manon
Can you try to review the filipino made track bike
The “MOB TANOSHIMI”
The new and improved version of the aluminum one btw there new one is carbon😅
Manon - Blake crossover episode. Make it happen.
ОтветитьToo bad there isn't any velodromes in Singapore :/
ОтветитьRule number 1 - Keep pedalling. Rule number 2 - Keep pedalling. Rule number 3 - Keep pedalling....... you get the idea!
ОтветитьAhhh, 15 miles per hour. GCNUK, I guess.
ОтветитьWhat about the orbea aero
ОтветитьGonna marry Manon
ОтветитьLet's face it, Manon owns this channel ... and that's not a bad thing.
ОтветитьTRACK CYCLING! I love it! More track content please!
ОтветитьPlease upload workouts to do at the velodrome!
ОтветитьManon what gear ratio do you recommend for "training" a points race!
ОтветитьIt's been close to 30 years since I last rode on a velodrome. It is where I feel like I learned how ride a bike, forces you to ride a smooth cadence. Smooth out your steering in a tight pack of riders and great pace line skills. Loved riding the Madison so much fun and incredible interval training. Stopped by Encino Velodrome here in Los Angeles a couple weeks ago thinking about pulling down the old track bike and getting back on it.
ОтветитьAwesome video
ОтветитьYes. I wish there was one in the Midwest ( USA)
Ответитьmanons bike vs Alex is like Ferrari vs an ol Toyota
ОтветитьI do enjoy the videos you two, Manon and Alex, do together. Always top notch.
ОтветитьI’d love to have a go but there isn’t a track in the south west 😔
ОтветитьOutdoor velodrome??? ... that's just paying to lap a large roundabout.
ОтветитьI know he's not in this video, but can somebody tell Ollie he looks like famous Swiss psychiatrist Hermann Rohrschach?
ОтветитьYou've inspired me to nip down to Derby and have another go (I did have a taster session at Manchester a few years back). One quick question - I've since acquired a track bike converted for street use with a front brake and bullhorn/ TT base bars. Are these legal if I take the brake lever & caliper off or do I need to fit drop bars? Thanks!
ОтветитьThis was so informative and fun!
ОтветитьI really appreciate the fact that you'd take the time to make a video for the 5 cyclists who watch this channel who have access to a velodrome and want to get into track racing. Please stop letting Manon influence the topic of your videos.
ОтветитьI can only briefly sprint 31 mph outdoors on my roadbike. How fast could I expect to go and maintain here, and would I be able to stay out of faster people's way?
ОтветитьAny reason why your list of velodromes included Brighton twice but no mention of Calshot, a neat 140m bowl? Also, I'd dispute Manon's assertion that if you stop pedalling your back wheel will fly into the air - more likely you'll be shot into the air and possibly over the bars (don't ask me how I know this!).
ОтветитьCould you please have Si' pronounce "Côte d'Azur" correctly so it doesn't sound embarrassingly like "coat d'usure" (sic)? Interestingly that one, less enticing than Nice or Saint-Tropez, could cause a track cyclist to be immediately disqualified if encroached on... Awesome video overall!
ОтветитьI never gave track cycling much thought but this video reminded me that I'm very lucky to have one a 15 minute drive away from me in the US. I looked it up and it was demolished 2 years ago:( Truly very few of them on this side of the Atlantic.
ОтветитьTrack cycling is addictive!!!
ОтветитьCries in United States
ОтветитьManon is perfect !!!
ОтветитьGreat video, helps a lot, i have been riding the track once a week for 3 weeks now since i started, because the nationals are coming up (Slovenia :D). I would like to see some more advanced tips as well, thx for all your work GCN. :)
ОтветитьIt's Manon's world. We just live in it.
ОтветитьWould love to do some track riding but the lack of venues kills it. Only 6 indoor velodrome in the UK for a nation of nearly 70 million people is pathetic.
