This documentary has a glaring error. It said that Lula could not run against Bolsanaro the first time because he was in prison, which is true. It then said that he was released when the charges were proven false, which they were not. He was corrupt, he was proven to be corrupt, but his buddies in the supreme court released him from prison so that he could run for president again in 2022.

His cronies in the supreme court received huge salary boosts from Lula, as well as much more money under the table through increased housing allowances, food allowances, and having all of their expenses paid when they travel. That was their reason for releasing him from prison.
