I haven't truly been involved in R/C in almost 30 years. At that time, I wish we had brushless motors, lithium batteries, and cameras small enough to mount on our vehicles. Hell, I wish we didn't have cameras that used film, because maybe I would have had pictures of our racing experiences!
Unfortunately, the R/C hobby has faded from a lot of places here in Canada. Shops that carried vehicles now are into static models and figurines. Tracks are long gone. I am not even sure that the last "local" track that was about 2 hours away is still even running.
