I was in an abusive Christian marriage. I couldn't decide where we lived etc. He did as he was the Head of the home. Where we lived made my mental health dip and I was concerned for my children also. All he said was well he was OK.
He told me I was the devil and how I had to forgive him.
Christians preach love but will happily see someone else suffer if its for thier own gain.
Look at how many peadaphiles in the church, hills on and the church od England to say a couple. Yet they still give their money and sing to hillsong songs.
I even got told to be a good Christian I needed to empty my bank account.
Look at the Millers, the pastor doing drugs and yet doing drugs, Joyce Myers body guard killed his wife and kids. Evangelists saying if you pledge so much money I will heal you. TD Jakes didn't preach anywhere unless he got $50,000 and that's from a reputable source. Yes he had costs bit what about just taking a few staff and going on a normal plane? Just because he loves people, not demanding a certain price?
We have all made mistakes, but it seems mistakes don't matter if your the one getting everything and what you want, no matter what it does to someone else. That's love, that's Christianity

A long story short, I will only say : it is not possible for forgiveness to reach and heal a hardened heart, a heart who actually takes pleasure in doing evil and receives forgiveness acts from God merely as means to brag being innocent while keeping engaged in doing wrong again and again.

The Letter to the Hebrews in the Scripture explains it very well : Jesus suffered because our human hearts were blinded by sin and hardened against His Grace. He had to find a way through the cruel mazes of our devoided will and toughts in order to make himself listened to, and, in some cases, more or less obeyed.

Even upon His Résurrection, humankind continues to find it normal to do wrong things when God's teachings are not well explained. The sufferings hence inflicted to innocent people, past and before Christ terrestrial epoch are part of Jesus Crucifixion because of the transcendance of time which characterizes Gods actions.

This lead some theologians to even think that Jesus actually continues suffering on the Cross through each human being who is unfairly harassed by evil deeds of creatures.

God is neither cruel to chastize innocent Jesus, nor self-contradictory in advocating for mercy through the way of the cross.

God made Himself, in Jesus, the very bearer of all the physical, psychlogical and spiritual sufferings which come out of the misuse of free-will by human beings.

Eternal punishment for any finite crime is not justice.

This video doesn’t address the idea that Jesus forgave sins in light of his future sacrifice for them. Of Abraham, it was said that his faith was counted as righteousness long before Jesus became our righteousness through his obedience and death on the cross. It was always in light of that future sacrifice of Jesus.

Well I was raised a Christian, I think the reason why Jesus was able to say "You're forgiven" before his sacrifice was simply because that He is the Beginning and the End, He was with God since the foundation of the Earth and stars etc...according to Psalms. Because Jesus has knowledge of the future, and exists in all dimensions of time and space, he can easily say "You are Forgiven. He has knowledge of who He is and the Authority was given to him by the Father.

Next, the sacrifice of Christ was absolutely necessary for our sins, because God is Holy and separate and He is the standard bearer for righteousness, which I believe you understand. Okay....so then God chose on our behalves out of love for His own creation to humble Himself and to walk among us like one of us. That way, he undertook and understands to the fullest extent what it is to be human. Therefore He is worthy, and He did not live for Himself, but He gave himself up for the service of others. I believe He is worthy of worship on that account.

While I agree with this now, when I was an evangelical, I would have said that that he forgave them because of the sacrifice and he's outside of time, so it didn't matter that it hadn't happened yet.

You have to separate Catholic church doctrine from the bible. You can not be in God's presence and be spiritually corrupt or unclean. This is shown in Leviticus when the priests were told to make a temple and at the back of that temple was a room that contained a Tabernacle. They would tie a rope around the priest who was to enter the room in the event that he died so they could be him out if he was not holy or unclean when he entered.

This is also why when Adam and Eve disobeyed God's message, God left the garden. God planned on coming back but did not want Adam and Eve to die in his presence. Thats how much he loved them.

God has communicated his messages to us through prophets. Those prophets then wrote down what they were told for the future generations.

Jesus (Yahushua) was sent to be living proof of the promise God gives all of us. If you love him like he loves you, he will not let your perish away because at some point the earth as we know it in its current place in the solar system well be disrupted. We have been warned for thousands of years about this. Jesus, a man born of the flesh was always going to die because thats what men do. God resurrected him as living proof of his word. Therefore, if you believe God can raise Jesus (Yahushua) and you WANT to be with God then you would do what God asks of you.

Jesus (Yahushua) after his resurrection was then given authority over the earth and it is Jesus (Yahushua) you will meet at the Gates to Heaven and it is he who will either let you in to be with the father or not. So it is not until that day that anybody will be saved but Yahushua has the authority to let anyone in he sees fit.

The verse that I like to disprove Christianity is Isaiah 55:7. No blood, no sacrifice, just stop being a bad person and God forgives you

The way I understand this is that Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of hope for pagans. Jews are already in the Kingdom, but there is another tradition, contemporaneous with Judaism, wherein blood sacrifice of a king serves as recompense of his people.

Paul was preaching to the pagans. That's their tradition. Things seem to align if one draws a Venn diagram between Jesus, Osiris, and Baldr. They align at the point of death and subsequent resurrection, (though in Baldr's case we have to wait.)

It's in this sense that the crucifixion of Jesus by the Romans, not the Jews, aligns with their expectations and the resurrection seals the deal for all time.
