This is such a heartbreaking lesson that changed avaition for the better.
ОтветитьDude had a heartattack when he went down am sure. I think it was arrogance. Rich folks without boundaries
ОтветитьThis show is so addictive!!!!!
ОтветитьHe wasn't paying attention, he was in his glory flying his brand new plane and ignored everything he wasn't supposed to do. Meanwhile, he not only killed his own family, he killed many other's too!!! It wasn't the ATC's fault at all. Just bad timing. I hope he returned to work. That blood isn't on his hands!! All that pilot had to do was to follow his flight plan, if he got lost he could've just followed his compass east towards Big Bear mountain. It's hard to miss, it's the big mountain on his left just before the high desert!!!
ОтветитьLast line: "Since the implementation of TCAs there hasn't been another mid air collision in the United States." Well, not exactly, as recently as three months ago two aircraft mid-aired near Denver, BUT, not likely either of them had TCAS... as it is not required on all aircraft.
ОтветитьWhy are VFR pilots allowed to obtain a license? They joke about IFR pilots by calling it I Follow Roads. Real funny, Ha Ha. 😭
ОтветитьCrappy equipment.
ОтветитьWhat puzzles me is why couldn't the small plane see the DC 9, that plane was very large, how could they not see each other??? So sad !!!♥︎
ОтветитьBreast is best 😏
ОтветитьThe air controller who took a cigarette break leaving a novice air controller to take over is in my opinion just as much at fault as the guys in the small aircrafts.
ОтветитьThats exactly how these things happen......people don't pay enough attention to what they're doing or get distracted by something and it takes only seconds for a disaster to culminate.
ОтветитьMan those interviews must be so scary, whether you did something wrong or not....
ОтветитьBadly edited video. Cannot hear all narration.
Ответитьthis happened on 183rd and marquart in cerritos, I lived just south of the crash
ОтветитьOne thing I hate about this is that an officer tries to talk over the noise
ОтветитьThey should add a horn, so they can honk at each other.
ОтветитьWhy are they showing a white actor portraying John White?
ОтветитьHad no businesses even being there. Bet he's pretended he was flying a commercial airliner before. Complete boyscout.
ОтветитьThe blood on the wing of the small plane means they were mutilated. That’s so freaking sad. Poor people. All of them.
ОтветитьThose small planes shouldn't be flying at all except for official business. Usually rich people's vacation or something like that, not important at all.
ОтветитьRIP my uncles Manuel, Joe and cousin Robert their friends Tom,Gregorio, Sonny, family Frank and Mark. We miss you
ОтветитьHard to hear the voiceover over the loud music
Ответитьtalking over the video jeez
ОтветитьThat’s crazy both planes are 489 the others 498
ОтветитьI wonder where rhe dude is? I hope he's not in some rubber room somewhere.
ОтветитьI remember this day I lived in Artesia on my way to work, The roads were blocked off and I saw bodies in the street everywhere so sad.
ОтветитьThis was a tragedy we'll never forget, we heard about it on the radio as we were driving down Carmenita looking to see what was burning. It was a gruesome site. May all those souls rest in peace.
ОтветитьAnyone know how the case against the 3rd pilot, Roland P. Furman, went?
ОтветитьWe all know what became of Walter White 🧊
ОтветитьThat is really sad that small airplanes are not allowed to have all the up-to-date equipment that your passenger larger planes have to have they should follow aviation rules everybody should have some type of tracker or whatever they talking about in their airplane because if not this is the results one life lost is too many life lost
ОтветитьWhile he's trying to watch the freeways and look for different landmarks he's not paying attention to what's going on in the sky because his eyes is on the ground
ОтветитьIt wasn't the act traffic controllers fault It was Kramer's fault
ОтветитьI hope Walter makes it in life and this might sound strange sometime it takes a disaster in order to get improvement which is sound sad but this is the outcome of the story
ОтветитьI can see Wentworth is the life of parties
ОтветитьThis is why small personal planes should not be allowed in the same air space as large passenger planes. You can't take a go kart on a large very busy freeway and expect nothing to happen.
ОтветитьThe term "Air Traffic Controller" is a misnomer. They are actually advisors. They have zero control over an aircraft.
ОтветитьSomething’s wrong with the sound mixing between the narrator and the actors / sound effects at multiple points. Narrator gets drowned out.
ОтветитьThis may be a dumb question but do the stabilizers have backups just in case they fail or break off? Because I know almost every other plane component has a backup should something catastrophic occur.
ОтветитьThe narrator and reenactors talk on top of each other so much I cant finish this video.
ОтветитьWhoa what is going on with the sound mixing this episode. I can’t hear anything the narrator is saying whenever there’s any background noise
ОтветитьCan't believe LA X were using outdated equipment, especially equipment with a history of intermittent failure, that is criminal negligence. Plus anytime a new controller is learning the trade someone should be assessing him or her at all times during their training period. To me that program creates a huge weakness in their system that was not addressed. My heart breaks for Walter White, yeah to some degree it may have been his fault but with his lack of experience and all the other issues that were contributing factors to this disaster, it was not his fault by a long shot. I can't imagine the amount of Ptsd that Walter has had to endure that should've been avoided. Its sad to hear, Unfortunately Walter White the controller was later murdered by a family member of some of the victims. In 1986
ОтветитьI was in that plane? 💀
ОтветитьIt was the Kramer's fault? 💀
ОтветитьThe plane screeched almost right over my old place of work, Ralphs Grocery store.
ОтветитьSound editing is really messed up in numerous places with narration layered over other dialog, alarms, sirens, crashes. It's impossible to understand the narration, or the dialog it's layered over, in any of these places. Why sabotage your content like this?
ОтветитьWere you able to figure out why this devastating collision took place?
Ответить
