HOW TO USE WATERCOLOR - Introduction Tutorial

Seriously though, thanks everyone for the suggestions thus far, I'd love to hear what you guys have for suggestions and topics you'd like me to cover in the future coming tutorials I'll be making!

I'm looking for lessons like this. I normally draw, but I want to learn to paint and mixing drawing and painting together. I'd that's possible.

This cheerful and relaxed approach was just the little push I needed to actually pick up one of my brand-new brushes and finally begin on my own path with this medium that has fascinated me since the day as a child when I used the only materials at hand. I employed a piece of slick card stock paper from a package of silk stockings, diluted food coloring and blended colors, a wooden toothpick, and a Q-tip to paint a rainbow trout. It was the best result, surprisingly enough and my mother could barely believe I'd done it with those supplies. Now 72 years later, I'll try to do it 'right.' Thanks for this video and your enthusiasm.

Some presenters make the topic sooo complicated. Do this, do that, don't do that...bla bla bla. You quickly go through some easy to follow techniques and then say "experiment, experiment, experiment." How liberating!

This is definitely my introduction to watercolor, I remember watching this a few years back, while I still have those crayola watercolors. Now I’m a sophomore in college😭.

Thanks for this video!. On Saturday I am going to be teaching a watercolor painting class to a centre that works with youth and adults on the autism spectrum. This video was very informative and I wrote down lots of bullet points to reference when teaching them! If you have ANYMORE helpful tips (in very easy to understand terms) so I can teach it to ALL of them before my Saturday workshop I'm teaching I would LOVE the help and advice/tips!!

I just paid 7 Euros for almost unused 24 color Schmincke Horodam box and 3 Euros for expensive paper at a flea market. I guess I’ll have to learn how to use them now.
