The Apple XDR is not the right monitor for professional color grading work. It is not accurate.

Absolutly redicilous that apple always make you buy additional crap like vesa for $200 when you pay $5,000 for the screen. This crap HAS to come with the screen. And the $1,000 stand also HAS to come with the screen. No onther company does this stupid stuff. It's like a car dealer would sell you a car, but you have to go and buy your own wheels for the price of 1/4 of a car. One of the biggest reasons why I would always avoid buying apple product, even though it is great product, but NOT much better than other product on the market.

You are incorrect. It runs natively in 6k on the 15 inch MacBook Pro 2019. You said it would only run 6k on Mac Pro or the new 16 inch MacBook Pro.

I bought a 8 k monitor and got a pc for free. Apple is behind here 60 FPS ( 8k ) 36 inch 120 FPS ( 4 k) and that’s with ray tracing real HDR . Oled a yea it’s also a tv 75 inches cost only 7999,99 ( amazon) with a free stand!!! Nobody make better monitors than LG anything else is either a copy of LG or just pure garbage

the mini LED technology and 1000+ local dimming zone with great coverage of rec2020 seems like an awesome spec for the price which I think will battle this Pro Display XDR

It's a good monitor probably for those who need something better than something you'd find at Best Buy. It's geared towards the right kinds of people, but it does have a lot of caveats that make it specifically for those people rather than a general audience, price tag included.

Monitor is worth $2k and that's even more than it really should be. Don't even get me started on the stand and lack of built-in vesa capabilities. Keep on sheepin, Apple fans.

The Asus Pro Art PA32UCX is the better option, at anywhere from 2.5 Grand to 4.5 grand, and it works on any platfrom.

The display everyone else is using has different colour from their phone to TV's to monitor and bill boards ... Why pay $5999 for a display that can put colour that no other display can put ?

May I recommend a CFS Flo arm as an alternative VESA stand. It’s very good.

I appreciate your videos but you clearly have no idea what your talking about. No iMac monitor is reference monitor for color grading . You made in even worse by inviting color grading specialist that make his grade with windows full of sunlight and without gray walls.

Ok, so I am a photographer who prints. I am seriously thinking of upgrading to an XDR vs iMac 2019 5K vs Benq SW321C. Which do you think is best -- taking money out of the equation.. Then if money is in the equation, is the winner that much better than the second place -- assuming I want very good color accuracy.
