RCF Evox 12 ROCKS! Going on four years with a pair ... my workhorse and favorite!

It would be interesting to compare these with the Maui 44G2

Evox 12 is a solid system for sure. Love mine. Handles so many venues and crowds.

I own the 8's, and they are perfect for the normal wedding I do. I don't work large rooms as much. Love how easy they are to move and setup.

Have you had an experience using the turbosound ip3000s. If so have you noticed a difference between those and rcf ev12s?

I have had these for a couple of years… I use them for every event unless I need my QSC 181 subs. Do you have the RCF dual subs? At $4600, Would you add that to the Evox 12’s?

I’ve been using the evox 12’s and evox 8’s ( wood cabinet version not the plastic j8 version) for many years! My favorite speakers of all time ....good for you I’m so glad you enjoy using them!!! Best speakers ever! I agree you have to get the pro x rolling case too. One question I have is what r u using to get the in and out of your van? Did you get a loading ramp for your van?

Oh damn, I was considering the the EV Evolve 50, but now I'm going to look these up! I hear great things about the RCFs!

I've been using a pair of Evox 12s since 2016, and love them for events under 175 people. I have 4 Evox 8s for ceremony / cocktails. I still have my QSC 3 ways over 18" subs for bigger parties.

I've been looking into buying some new column array speakers for my own use. I've been looking at the Evolve 50s of course. Bose just came out with their new Pro 8/16/32. The Maui 44G2 are getting a look too. And yes of course the RCF. I'd love to hear which of these you also considered Jason. (hope things are good with the family BTW)

Jason I've been using the EVOX12 for 6 years 90% of the time and have two sets of the NX24 & 8004 for larger events. I also purchased the TTNX 12 series for monitors and fills. Can't go wrong with these cabs

Hello Sir ! Was wondering if you could provide a little bit of feedback on these systems for Live bands.
I'm watching a lot of content to gather information on portable column arrays, but a lot of what I've found so far is mainly targeted towards DJ'ing.
I understand you too seem more focused on the DJ side of things.
Maybe you'd still have a general idea to share with me & advice me a little bit on what I'm trying to do.

Let's go directly to an extreme with a regular, loud playing, Hard Rock Band. Fully mic'ed Drum Kit (~8 mics), Bass (DI to Mixer), 2 Electric Guitars & a Singer to keep it simple.
Settings would be Bars, Pubs, occasional Outdoors Concerts (100+ people, you know, amateur scene Live Concerts)

Do you think one//two of these could handle the pressure, with that many sound sources & still be able to produce great live sound ?
(Of course, only one would definitely be weird, I would plan on two, but if you have some thoughts on how one of them would handle this)

How would you compare the RCF HDM 45 to K12.2 and the JBL SPRX 15P two way and or EV ETX 15 two way?

What's up Jason. New subscriber to the channel. I'm interested in the RCF line. Would you recommend the evox 12s over the HD 45a? I do a combination of weddings, sweet 16, and outdoor events. The evox looks good because it's all in one. But I heard the 45a with the 4" voice coil is no joke.

I've got two of the Evox 8's and they rock as well! Plus the tops slip into the bottoms for ease of transport.

Great video. RCF guy myself (HDM 45). Fwiw - I prefer bags over cases because I always want to be prepared to carry all the gear by myself in case I have to on a specific date/event, and the big cases make that challenging unless you have a big truck with a ramp etc which I don't.

How does it compare to bose f1 system in terms of the bass?

I have the rcf hd45 's I use them with a qsc 18 sub. How do you think the evoke compares with sound quality and quantity?

I bought 2 just recently. For a 15 inch sub expected more bass. I use soundcraft efx12 desk. Keep everything bass mid and treble at 12 o clock. The fbt 12s vn2000 i thought had a better tighter bass. Do u keep the volume knob on the back at 12 o clock or up full. 12 is normally unity. Haven't luve giged yet just used in big 24 ft kitchen..

Any tips on settings thsres only the volume and bass boost i leave it off..

I was thinking between the EVOX 12 or RCF HDM 35a,
but not i bought the EVOX 12, can't wait to hear them.
The only i wish they had is a selective crossover to the Sub, to add a bigger sub for bigger venues.

Hello. I have 2 evox 8 for wedding up to 100 people. But sometimes I have to manage up to 300 people. Are 2 evox 12 would be enough ? Or 2 qsc ksub + 2 qsc k8 would be better ? Thanks for your help

Hi Jason. I'm considering buying my first audio system and I thought of these Evox 12, also for their portability. But I want to ask you for some technical-musical advice. I'm a DJ who mainly plays CLUB music, I don't play pop or rap etc. I would like to get this sound system to manage private events, such as private chic parties or happy hours for example. Are you saying that these speakers are good at making this type of music in this type of situation or do I need more?

Hey Jason, do you still hold the same opinion on the RCF Evox 12 speakers? Have you got a chance to hear them in comparison to the LD SYSTEMS Maui 44G2? There are so many mixed reviews, and coming from the EV EVOLVE 50 speakers, I had to sell them because of the lack of head room and lack of bass sound from the subs. 120° dispersion was my concern and always towed the speakers outward to eliminate the amount of loud in your face sound behind the booth. Love your content. You Rock!!!

I owned the Evolve 50 and I blew a subwoofer. I realized that the bass output wasn't there and the headroom wasn't there. Been thinking of the EVOX 12 by RCF. Big comparison between the Evox 12 the Maui 44g2. Only thing is that I wanted to be able to adjust the speaker height and I wasn't a fan of the 120○ dispersion of sound on the EV 50. Help please!!!
