So you're one of the reason I need to purchase a subscription now? Darn you Kevin!! 🤭🤭🤭 Kidding, love your channel man.
ОтветитьI have problems with Microsoft updating. My laptop comes to a halt and the updates don't happen, so I often have to stop updates for a week. I also have problems with One Drive. I have paid for Microsoft 365 for years, but Word documents take an age to load or won't let me in.
In my Microsoft 365 account it says:
'Not actively using on any device yet.' - so I asked Microsoft about this.
REPLY FROM MICROSOFT:
The message "Not actively using on any device yet", means that you have not installed or used Microsoft 365 on any of your devices. It will still show this message even if you can already see files in OneDrive, as it indicates the Microsoft 365 service. We hope that clears everything.
No it does not clear everything!
Am I paying for 365 but I don't actually have it? Any ideas?
thanks - Lynne
Beautifully done video Kevin thank you so much
ОтветитьAll I require is a Word processor and Excel, what is the best option for me please - I have been using Microsoft 365 for several years and the subscription has been around £60 - I no longer want to pay a subscription so can I purchase these options like I used to? Thank you
ОтветитьIn 200gb’s time you are out of space on your onedrive my friend. What do you do then? Nothing actually because you can’t purchase xtra storage without changing subscription plan to a much much more expensive plan. It’s a trap!
ОтветитьHow does one find employment at microsoft
ОтветитьNicely explained
ОтветитьI have applied a retention policy with default tag to for Outlook inbox especially in O365 Exchange admin panel for 1 year on a shared mailbox to keep mails inside inbox 1 year & then delete mails as time 1 year completes but i can not see previous mails upto 1 year in that mail box's inbox but just seing upto 3 months as i applied 3 months retention policy before this one what can be the reason & solution because retention policy has been succesfully applied i can see it being mentioned under new mails. Can anybody help with this?
ОтветитьI have a paid-for computer-based Office suite that I lost access to with an Apple update a few years ago. I paid all of this money for it and can't use it at all.
ОтветитьI was hoping you would give me the free word processing features available. I am one old lady who lives alone, and I just want the word processing.😢
ОтветитьThought about microscope,not sales,sad
ОтветитьI'm Guyana they charge us $12,000 Guyana dollars
ОтветитьMicroSh** will have you hostage forever as long as you keep paying, if you can't pay, bye bye your cloud docuents and suddenly your computer is practically useless.
ОтветитьKevin, I have another comment regarding Microsoft 365. I have been unable to use my Microsoft 365 fully as certain features do not work and I am having difficulty in finding assistance. Before installing Microsoft 365, I was heavily involved in creating macros. My Microsoft 365 does not support macro development. The options feature in Excel only gives the following message: Options
Regional Format Settings
Change your regional format settings for Excel for the web
I enjoy your presentations. Joseph Goss
Some indian guy sitting on a coke crate in India paid pennies can access the information on your computer, Bill Gates has screwed us in the past and his CEO the indian guy will continue to do just that,
ОтветитьBill Gates said years ago that computer users would not want to have their information on line, but would only want their information on their computers, but Ellis said different,
Ответитьthank you
ОтветитьSo instead of just checking out the products on offer and purchasing the ones that meet our needs, now we get to pay constantly for a suite of software we'll never use, and a constant stream of features we didn't ask for on the ones we do! Sadly corporates have bought into this, so we're now in the crazy situation of trying to fit our work into the products available, regardless of whether they are suitable because "we're already paying the subscription", rather than actually choosing the best product for the job. Great for Microsoft, not so good for productivity of efficiency.
ОтветитьI get Microsoft 365 free through the ExpertZone and I still don't use it. There are a few reasons but the primary one is how desperate Microsoft is with it. The same goes for Edge. The harder Microsoft pushes and pushes their stuff onto the end user, the less I trust the product to stand for itself. If it truly is great, people will willingly use it. Forcing people into an online account at Windows Setup (without a command prompt workaround) which then allows OneDrive to hijack your documents & pictures folders prior to having the option to disable it and then forcibly connecting all system hyperlinks to use Edge regardless of your default browser and making it impossible to remove without insane workarounds sends me running the other way. 365/OneDrive/Edge/etc. could be fantastic products/services but Microsoft doesn't let them speak for themselves. "Have you logged into your account? Do you have 365? All your files are now in OneDrive whether you like it or not. Have you tried Edge? You should try Edge. You HAVE to try Edge!!!!" Just stfu for a minute, geez. Lastly, OneDrive's lack of zero knowledge encryption allows Microsoft access to all your data. Sure you can store everything in your 'safe' but that largely defeats the purpose. You're not even allowed to store legally owned copyrighted content on OneDrive. That music you bought off BandCamp? Yeah, that breaks OneDrive policy. A lot of people are better off using a free Office alternative, backing up their content on an external hard drive and if they really need cloud access/backup, using something like BackBlaze.
ОтветитьThank you for this information it helps. Right now I'm trying the yearly Microsoft 365 Personal. Just got it a few days ago. I'm still trying to figure out how to use it correctly. I'm having a little problem because my windows 1o is out of datev
ОтветитьGreat example of in the future you will own nothing and you’ll be happy.
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьSounds brilliant. I will definitely subscribe.
ОтветитьDon't like paying subscription x software
ОтветитьSo how often does my hardware upgrade on a daily?
ОтветитьMr. Stratvert this video is already outdated. Moses office has been retired.
ОтветитьGET TO THE FUKKIN POINT
ОтветитьThus video is a promo for a product that is useless to most people.
ОтветитьHi. I subscribe to dropbox yearly for storage. How does this compare with onedrive storage offered with microsoft 365.
ОтветитьThanks for the great content! Really well done and very helpful to this Luddite!
ОтветитьGreat video. How about a part 2 which covers E3/E5 licensing ?
Ответитьoffice is a scam like any digital subscription. getting it for free as a student but hard to find a guide on it
ОтветитьYour presentation is very good. I just need to know to decide to buy it if I could use Excel and Word without an Internet connection. Thank you.
ОтветитьI think Microsoft 365 can be verify at iPhone on mobile data
ОтветитьKevin: I bought MS Office online for my computer 15 years ago, and my hard drive crashed, and I lost everything and Office. I like how it's on a Cloud such that I can still retrieve it if something happens to my present computer. Plus MS gave me an offer that I could not refuse. They offered me 365 for free monthly, as long as I pay $7 per month for 1 TB of MS OneDrive. I used to love Excel back in the day, so I just started today to relearn it. Sorry that I'm slumming on your Channel for Excel Stuff
ОтветитьI am still completely lost on how to FIND all these “apps” in M365. We have it at work but with no personal training I dont know how to navigate around in 365. These tutorials show you popping around but not how you GOT THERE. 😢
ОтветитьThe wonderful features and tools in MS 365 will never get popular with this scheme of subscription. Its great for office use but on a personal level - never. Life isnt only about the earning phase - what about before employment phase and after retirement phase
- its expensive and not needed - the so called great features!!
Why can’t I create fill in forms and share to people. They cannot open unless they have 365. Really doesn’t help me when I can not use it to share forms.
ОтветитьHi kevin if i have the old version of ms word that came with my pc with purchase. Question: if i subsribe to microsof 365.. and if for some reason i am unable to pay the subscription in the future.. would i still be able to use the ms word on my pc that i initially had prior? Would it still be accessible? (My old version)
Your response will be greatly appreciated 😊
Thank you for your unbiased opinion on this. I think its a nice option for businesses who are terrible at managing their license keys. Such a saviour for (where is that key? It's already installed on another computer).
ОтветитьNormal users don't know how to use all of that, and we don't need it.
ОтветитьYa why would I want to Joust buy Microsoft office one time when I could buy it every year over and over and never technically own it while the devs over at microsoft charge me to add a bunch of features I will never use. Makes so much sense.
ОтветитьI do not like to get problems solved that I do not have!
ОтветитьNice presentation. I'm still waiting to install it on my tablet. My one question at the moment is whether the old version on my HP computer has Excel files. Is there a place where I can look to access those files on Microsft 365 for use on my Microsoft 365? I was worried about the cost of being an 80-year-old single user but you answered that question.
ОтветитьCant stand it. I'm old everything is different, can't even search my emails. This sucks!
ОтветитьEver since the monetization concept entered the market, it was about everyone trying to create a cash flow for everything. It was ridiculously sickening.
Now, essential services like phone, electric, and water make sense. But everything thing else is NOT a basic necessity of life. So, it only points to greed.
While Microsoft has definitely come a long way in becoming a necessary tool for many, the idea of creating a bunch of unessential side products, like those mentioned herein, in order to monetize starts looking a little like a cheesy way to create a flow of money. What's scary is that once Microsoft or any company (corporation) corners the market, it then begins to change from a service to a bureaucracy and starts looking like a government. And with all the political trash going with Microsofts chief executive in getting involved with medicine to force people with "the jab," I'm sorry. It just stops there. Microsoft isn't the only corporation involved in heinous political acts, which is downright disgusting. Like Disneyland's ridiculous attempt at autonomy in Florida. How STUPID!!! I'm so glad DeSantis shut it down. There are many others, Facebook (the entire social media industry).
I mean the next version will be these corporations forming alliances against their very patronage. That's just one concern. Another is the whole cloud storage business. I loath the concept. It's actually a nice idea but with all the hacking, I wouldn't dare put my clients information at risk. No way. So, it may be a long way before this concept actually does come to fruition but it'll have to wait out my generation. Every major change in ideology comes generational, fortunately and unfortunately. This is my two cents. There you have one person's perspective. Have a nice day!
