Dude basically started her whole evil arc because instead of having sympathy for what the gods put her through and the fact that they genocided every man , woman and child on earth except her , and TALKING TO HIS WIFE when he didn’t like her plans , he instead KIDNAPPED THEIR CHILDREN and planned to betray her because said genocidal monster god told him to.
She got mad , they had a fight , and instead of facing her himself he just trained child soldiers to deal with the Grimm from then on, and lied to them that she was pure evil with no redemption when he hadn’t even tried to redeem her .

I haven’t finished the series yet but goddamn I’m actually rooting for Salem over ozpin rn.

Imagine being tortured by the gods simply because you wanted to bring your dead husband back. The show was great/good until the original creator died (volume 1-most of 3) and the rest of the staff started to disregard his decisions and it fell apart super fast

I'd have to disagree on Volumes 4 & 5 being garbage. 6 onwards is when the series goes down the toilet.

Everything in that video is so true. RWBY used to be a good show, but it fell down hard due to all of the nonsense, plot holes, wasted characters, pandering, downgraded animation and terrible writing. It suffered the same fate as many once great shows like Rent a Girlfriend, Young Justice, Tokyo Ghoul, Simpsons, Rick and Morty, Walking Dead and Jujutsu Kaisen (right after the Shibuya Arc when Nobara was shot in the head and her status was left, unknown).

I love this video but i see the dust stealing criticism a lot and i always just assumed collecting dust was just the equivalent of gathering arms for their army. Makes sense that they would just stop in that context once they had enough

RWBY is literally what happens when the person in charge of the project only wants to make the "cool stuff" and leaves the other 90% of the show to a bunch of amateurs who think Cowboy Bebop is cool just because it had gunfights and hot girls in it.
