Great video! I’m having a hard time deciding if I should break into tech through Course Careers or if I can confidently go through the sales engineer program through Leveld. I have 10+yrs of sales experience and I’m confident I have a lot of transferable skills. What would you suggest?
ОтветитьHow can we get data of the prospects if we want to make cold calls?
Thanks
Hi, I’m considering making a career pivot or even going back to grad school. Why did you not like being a software engineer? Those folks usually get paid well over six figures. Was is boring? Unfulfilling?
ОтветитьI'm 52, and I'm curious at this age. Can I break into tech sales ?
ОтветитьHi Antonie! I wondering, How is it like to be in Tech sales? Do you have to work every day? or you can make your own schedule?
ОтветитьIf you work for a FANG company as a principal or distinguished software engineer you can make millions.
ОтветитьI spent 10 years in automotive sales before going back for my computer science degree. I then spent 20 years in dev/ops, and my last role was at a fortune 500 global firm. I have a had an amazing career in tech, but I really want to transition to sales. I'm having trouble making the connection between my car sales experience, and technical experience.
Auto sales is not what most people believe that it is. It's not just fishing for clientele that comes to us. Good salesman know hot to hunt for prospects. As an example, on a rainy day, I will begin looking at motorcycle for sale ads. I helped a lot of wives, girlfriends, and even bikers trade their motorcycle in on a 4 wheeled vehicle. It's about identifying, and solving a perceived problem. In tech, I want to solve issues for customers, and my dev/ops coworkers, both! I want to use the experience that I have to bring solid success to both my team, and that of a potential client. That voice is more important to me than any dollar amount! Any advice?
I paid for course careers a 500 dollar course. This is why i need the job.
1) You can work anywhere in the world - I'll be living in Thailand this September.
2) Sales skills - need those
3) The pay - I need the capital so i can be a video game dev
4) The time - Tech Sales reps work around 4-6 hours a day
What's your thoughts on this list.
This video was amazing. Got my course careers certificate but also just signed up for Kayla Burk’s course just to be extra prepared for interviewing and the actual job 💯
ОтветитьAll advice welcome:
I am considering a switch to tech sales but I'm torn because I'm a few years away from gaining enough experience as a data engineer to return anytime without starting from scratch if sales doesn't work out. On the flip side, there are lucrative opportunities in sales now, and some friends are already thriving. I'm contemplating seizing the moment, but it feels like a hasty decision without a career safety net. Any thoughts?
Thanks for the video !
ОтветитьGreat video .I am from India and interested in pursuing a career in tech sales. Can I secure a remote job while staying in India?
ОтветитьWould be great to have your take on tech sales now in March 2024. Given the fact that there have been millions of layoffs in the tech industry. Most redundancies in tech coming in engineering and sales. As most companies are trying to streamline their operations to make profit and survive. Do you think the bubble has burst for tech sales ?
ОтветитьWill i have a difficult time getting a job in tech sales without a bachelors
ОтветитьI love the content brother.
ОтветитьGreat video. It’s very helpful to hear about your journey to finding that job that made you millions. Thanks for sharing the information on the relevant course work that helped you become an expert.
