We need more mothers staying home to raise their children. It can be done if you don't give in to societal pressures that are not as important as raising your little human.

Another core tip is if you have to flexibility to set your work hours, stagger your shifts. My husband does 7am to 3pm and I do 9 to 5. I handle all morning prep with the kids - breakfast, school send off, daycare drop-off. He does the opposite, he does daycare and school pickup, running errands, etc. When I get off work, I make dinner, he entertains the kids. After dinner he does dishes. Family time after dinner and bedtime we are a joint unit. My job is also way more flexible with midday interrupts such as sick kids or appoints, so I handle that more often, but if I'm back to back with meetings, he takes over because he's rarely expected to be in meetings.

People act like it's impossible, it's not. It's about time management skills, and if you don't have that, I must ask -- why are you working a corporate job?
