Wait, I think I know this one… The best way to pull off a bow tie, is to grasp the two sides firmly in each hand, plant your foot against the wearer’s torso for better leverage, and then firmly pull towards you with all of your strength, until the bow tie comes off.
Ответитьcould the bow tie be used with a crew neck sweater or only with a suit ?
ОтветитьI checked your bow ties but they are too expensive!! $140 !!
ОтветитьI love a bow tie, but it does come with one caveat: YOU must wear IT, and fearlessly.
If it wears you, it's not a good look.
The best way to pull off a bow tie is with your hand, with great force and urgency.
ОтветитьI like the gentleman's gazette!
ОтветитьNice bow tie while pull out

Questions:
What are the ideal shirt collars for a bow tie?
Can one wear a bow tie with a B3 Bomber Jacket?
In formal wear, is it acceptable to wear a nice black bowtie with a regular dress shirt? Is a tuxedo shirt required?
ОтветитьSo, is it ok to wear a classic black silk bowtie with a normal suit (with no silk facings like a tuxedo)??
ОтветитьSven, love your bow ties! The materials and patterns you choose are very unique and show a refined european taste. Have you thought about offering them in different sizes/shapes to match different head/collar shapes?
ОтветитьThanks Sven.
ОтветитьI am east Asian and when I wear a bow tie, the stereotype of Asians being good at math increases by 7x. 😅
Ответить3 seconds video: pull the unfolded ends
ОтветитьBro I will buy a wooden one with a string then I can take it off
ОтветитьI just can't get on board with bowties
ОтветитьWhy do all this, when you can buy a fine bow tie for $5 on amazon
ОтветитьI hope to wear a bowtie in order to be more approachable
ОтветитьI love neckties because they accentuate that tall and slim figure but I'll always have a love for that distinguishing and cute dorky look of a bowtie.
ОтветитьIn my opinion, the only time a clip-on bow tie would be acceptable is if it's vintage from the '50s as many of them have very cool, sleek designs.
ОтветитьCan we bring back the Bolo tie? Hey, if its good enough for Joe Bob Briggs, its good enough for me!
ОтветитьWish I could pull off a bow-tie. But I have no neck; just a swivel in there to turn my head a bit. Other than that its just jaw and chest with a neck line between about as wide as a pencil. I've tried a bow-tie and it look like Ive gift- wrapped my chin.
ОтветитьI love wearing bow ties I have over 24 of them at this time. When I worked in the men's store I was a resident teacher on how to tie them. And it's true you get more compliments with a sharp bow tie then you will a traditional tie
ОтветитьI love bow ties more than neck ties. Thank you for all these informations you provide to us
ОтветитьSo is a bowtie ok in any dress code a neck tie is ok in?
ОтветитьMaybe it's just me, but bow ties should be relegated to tuxedos or children under ten.
Ответитьlove the video what do u think about wearing one in a job interview?? I do but i value ur opinion
ОтветитьReally all I wear. Sharp and practical.
ОтветитьWhen I first saw this title, I thought you were going to tell us how to remove it. 😆
ОтветитьSorry but bow ties are not cheaper than ties. Some cost even more or the same as a regular tie. I try specials to get good quality bow ties for cheap. Bow ties are awesome 😎
ОтветитьWhat do you think to a bow tie with a button down collar? I've heard many say there should be no neck-wear with a button down. But I, for example, will wear a bow tie with a mini hounds-tooth shirt, a sports coat and corded trousers. I enjoy the casual look that the button down offers the ensemble.
ОтветитьMagnifique Purée beauté
Cool Classe HD " Merci "
Man, this guy is really trying to justify his bow tie habit.. xD
ОтветитьIf you're not wearing a tuxedo the bow tie looks ridiculous. You either look like a hipster or like you're trying too hard to impress someone. Just wear a regular tie.
ОтветитьA pre-tied bow tie is fine..... if you're a 4 year old.
ОтветитьLooking sharp!
ОтветитьFor an added dimension of dedication to style . . . buy a vintage sewing machine, learn how to use it properly, then find a bow tie pattern that works well for you and start making your OWN, out of all sorts of fabrics. This is an easy thing to learn how to sew, and quite honestly, if you are watching videos like this, you ought to know how to do some basic sewing and tailoring anyway. Whether it is hemming pants you picked up from a thrift store, or tailoring in the side seams of a shirt you bought at the mall to fit more properly, or making a sweet bow tie out of some nice textured fabric with color and pattern that is just a bit avant-garde, etc. . . knowing how to sew is a practical skill.
Sewing machines are just another POWER TOOL to add to your collection. If you appreciate fine woodworking, you will appreciate sewing because the concepts are the same . . . measure - cut - fasten - repeat (and find ways to customize along the way). I recommend anything built between 1940 - 1970, from any major brand of machine.
Rich men hire tailors. Self-sufficient men acquire quality tools and learn to customize their stuff, including their wardrobe (at least the easy stuff). Bow ties are simple . . . you can do this.
Great video, I love wearing bow ties, some good tips in here to consider. I actually dislike when I have to wear a tie now, but you have to break it up from time to time; you don't want to lean too much on this gem.
ОтветитьBow ties are tactically superior to neck ties, as they can't be used against you in a fight - and besides style, this is the main reason i like it more.
Ответитьcan you wear bowties as a teenager
ОтветитьVery informative and insightfull video, well done.I am still a bit new to dressing up and dont have a wardrobe large enough to have a lot of fun playing with different style and patterns, My question, what could there be paired with lumberjack style shirts?
ОтветитьI have been wearing bow ties off and on for a few year now and love them, but I have a problem in that it seems no matter how close I shave, by the end of the day, the silk in the bow tie is being pulled by my five o'clock shadow, resulting in most of them only being able to be worn once or twice, even though I am paying around $25 per bow tie. Is this just a poor quality bow tie, perhaps? Are there alternatives?
ОтветитьWhat puts me off is I don't like the exposed shirt buttons when wearing a bowtie. It looks undressed.
Unless the shirt has covered or very discreet buttons, bowties just don't work for me.
I usually pair my bow ties with a tweed coat, my green great coat or a purple frock coat and black Ariat cap toe boots.
ОтветитьI'm not sure this guy actually pulls off the bow tie. That's the irony really.
ОтветитьWow, I've been guilty of all solids...alot! Thank you so much for the tip at the end! I Love the channel!
ОтветитьShould I wear a solid bow-tie, if I'm wearing other complex patterns? Even though things may harmonize with all the layers, I feel like I might be pea-cocking a bit much.
ОтветитьBow ties are cool
ОтветитьI love the color of this pastel yellow orange dress shirt! Great Video as always!
