It is in fact not that simple. This is not what I was searching for. My Samsung phone cuts off after (I set it on) 5 minutes. I'm fine with that but while I am in the process of making a call the light goes off after 3 seconds. In the meantime, I'm pressing "1 for English", "2 for so-and-so extension", "3 for repeat menu" and etcetera, etcetera...you pretty much get the picture. While I am entering these numbers, 3 seconds is not enough time to enter the numbers they request on their menu. Maybe you can help me with that, if not I will continue searching for it. Thank you.

How can I keep my lock screen timeout longer??

I want notifications to show indefinitely until I see it. Have a home phone and don't always have cell with me around the house. Can I just disable the timeout feature, or if I can, would my battery be dead a lot more often?
