As an immigrant who came to US with not much in my pocket, I turned my poverty into wealth by two simple important advice; first to discipline myself and not overspend on thing I wouldn't need and 2ndly, invest in something I had passion for which in my case was real estate. Real state proved over the years to be very rewarding, and I would highly recommend to those conservative investors who don't like risking their money in the stock market. Just turned 80 years old March 22. I love spending money on building houses with top quality fittings,finishing and finishing, for rentals. I build 2 detached 4 bedroom houses on one plot and made good money, reinvested the money in another 2 detached houses . But rentals gone down badly because the market is flooded with houses. Am now struggling to finish these houses because no income from the rentals. Am now thinking of selling but market is bad for sellers.

Here is what I found out about $ and building wealth (or riches). Most people will NOT tell you their "secrets". That will cost you (it helps them continue to build their riches... more than one stream of revenue type thing.) That's why if you listen to most of these speakers, they all sound like broken records. It's the same tip of the iceberg talk from one to the next. With that being said, I know quite a bit about baseball, and have coached for many years. Do I know as much as some of these college coaches or pro coaches? Maybe, but not all of them. With that being said, no matter how hard you try, how hard you train, who you train with, etc... a lot will NEVER become pro at baseball. Is it worth the try to spend all of this time and money training? Sure! Same with becoming a millionaire/billionaire. Odds are not in your favor. With that being said, people will still take your money and train you in how to get there.

My thing is I want to reach each level in finance... 100k, 200k, 300k, etc until I have the momentum to look up and see I am within arms reach of that first $1,000,000. I WILL get there. I know me and I know I have what it takes to get there. I could have been one of those who played pro baseball physically, but mentally I didn't have anyone there to guide me and help my emotions of the ups and downs along the way.

Thank you Ramit, it changes my mind when I truly need the advise from creating my rich life during this inflation moment. My rich life would be having a very nice ecological bio home in a nice (preferably hot) weather area with animal friendly gardens that can be multi purpose for cooking lessons, demonstrations of eco farming and green buildings.
