How DM's react to MORE Races you play in Dungeons and Dragons

All I've learned from these videos, as someone who is thinking of trying DnD, is that DM's hate everyone and want everyone to die in the first 5 minutes cause they hate everything about any character you roll with.

There's 2 types of Tabaxi:
-Half of their paragraph sheet is explaining how they wanted to do it for the dexterity and has NOTHING TO DO WITH BEING A FURRY
or
-Owns a fursuit and might even show up to session in a partial.

My first character was a Goliath...monk.
I mean sure, the giant with a giant axe screaming and running towards you is scary. But not as scare as the giant that's already in your face.
I also didn't watch Nox Machina, so I play for the race's theme, which can be reduced into one word: "Yolo". It's really nice because you can be sure I'll activate every plot device, hook and trap. I'm also effectively immune to them by this point as well.

i play a plasmoid because they can make any low strength tool out of their body
ergo they are a walking talking lockpick

Tenku are the best 'uncommon' racial choice. Mostly because you can annoy everyone by just repeating things you've heard.

My fiance who's a dm was trying to make changes to my character sheet and I told him no lol. He calls my character a she-hulk lol. My character is a barbarian water genasi (half genie and half deep gnome) lol.

Me, personally, I would want to play as a Race I have envisioned Myself, and I have a multitude of Races I have created.

There is no way you figured out that i made a Goliath fighter because I watched vox machina, impossible, preposterous even

watch the Goliath barbarian pick up a halfing or some small race and YEET that dude at a monster in the air, it'll be cool and funny!

I once made a dungeon with five sections, each of which ended in the same room that had a door that needed 5 keys, as well as a path back to the entrance. I made sure the party couldn’t just enter every dungeon from the back end (where all the treasure usually was) by having a long drop into the room with the big door. Then I realized we had a Tabaxi.

If I played a Goliath, I would have him be a Wizard just to shake things up.
