Great summary. Very exciting time for E-bikes. Do you have a comparison of motor sound? I was looking at getting an ebike, but motors i looked at either sounded like a blender, or rattled on downhills. The pinion and TQ motor systems seem the quietest.

Last time I tried belt drive it broke on the 2nd. hill-up. Also has considerable resistance. Definitely not suited for MTB!

I'm not remotely in the target demographic for these, but seeing these give me some ideas of what want in my next commuter ebike.

I'm pretty sure eBikes are for old people, weak people, or homosexuals

I hope 2024 will bring Motor + Gearboxes to eMTBs it would be a really big change in how eMTBs are designed

All this ebike vloggers always talk about the best ebikes every year; but never talk about the battery of the bikes that catches fire. The question for 2024 is which ebike has the safest battery that has its own battery monitoring system. There has been an increase of ebike, escooters catching fire and destroying homes, apartments and buildings. Talk about this before you start talking ebikes for 2024.

You were choosy with giving prices. Why?

The 2024 Orbea Wild now comes in a couple of configurations with the SRAM T-Type AXS transmission. Nobody has really mentioned that before. The LTD and the M11 model both have it. I've ordered the 2024 M11 Wild model.

These Ebikes are way overpriced, $12000 for an Ebike, you can get 2 motorbikes for that.

What? No Trek?😮😅
