Would've liked a bigger comparison. The KTM brands are too similar for me to matter. I would've been more interested in adding independent brands to the comparison like Kawasaki, Honda or Suzuki, or Rieju or whatever else there possibly is.
ОтветитьWhat’s your thoughts on the (I think awful) vibration through pegs bars on the 300RR that wasn’t mentioned? I thought they had counter shafts now? I road a clapped out gas gas 300 for 4 days on an enduro holiday and was more comfy at the end than 2hrs on my beta 23 300rr, im seriously considering a swap to a bog standard gas gas ec 300so I’m more comfy on long enduro days and happy to work the clutch more & I found that sachs shock and ZF fork even orvs valves and bladder kit still doesn’t soak up any chop or big hits I’ve had several people set it up and still so harsh, on the topic of clutch yes the beta it’s a brembo but my husky mx brembo feels miles better especially on clutch pull, so confused on what to do
ОтветитьRich. How do you feel about yamaha, i grew up believing that they make a superior machine.
I'm working on rebuilding my 91 cr 250 and hoping to get a mid 00 yz 250
Just now I buy gas gas 23, before I had beta 5 year, I feel that engine beta is beautifully, and clutch works good. On gas gas difficult control clutch (
ОтветитьHey guys i was wondering if you can help me
I am gonna buy a used European enduro at 2018 age and i am between ktm 250 exc /Betta rr 300 / sherco factory se 300/ and husqvarna te 300.
Plz guys let me know your experience
Sherco is my Bike!
ОтветитьI want to see your cliff climbing shots if you've talked s*it about this man in the comments.
ОтветитьI've been scouring through reviews and this by far is the best!
ОтветитьGreat video!! Just what I was looking for 😎
ОтветитьI am looking for a all round enduro bike for on road and off road with highway usage can someone tell me the difference between the sherco 500 and the husquivana 701 what would be better for me for highway usage
ОтветитьSome has lower front travel suspension and some has not
ОтветитьDon't forget the husqvarna subframe is absolutely junk. I'm getting rid of myn Asap
ОтветитьI need IRC motocross tyre for 19inch and 17inch wheel rim? In BANGLADESH
ОтветитьCould you put the ktm clutch in the betta?
ОтветитьGenerally it's the ride that wins races and not the bike. If you took the best in the world and put him on a Chinese 2 stroke dirt bike and me on the best of these bikes, he would beat me. That is if I didn't take him out at the first corner and if he wasn't already way down the track somewhere else.
Ответить10 years ago the parts availability of ktm was atrocious.
ОтветитьPlease move the tire on your right in the videos shot in your studio. It makes it look like you are not centered in the room. The tire covers your right arm much of the time. Love your videos. Not complaining just trying to make things a bit more perfect like your riding skills. Thanks!
ОтветитьI love that his GasGas pipe is really badly dinged! I’m sure he did that for us.
ОтветитьMakes so much sense everything you said
ОтветитьAd TM racing to the mix
ОтветитьWhat year and model Beta was featured in this review standard RR or Racing?
ОтветитьWhat I’m curious about is how the old ktm husky carb bikes compare
ОтветитьFinally a honest comparison, I've felt the same way on these bikes... so yeah, I am riding same bike as you and it is the most suitable for me.
ОтветитьWhy in the world isn’t TM racing in there?
ОтветитьNo point bothering with three of the same bikes, TM v Sherco v Rieju v Beta would make sense.
ОтветитьThats junk that any of those off the shelf bikes could win a pro level enduro.. I guarantee you any of those riders on the podium are riding works level machinery with special gear that you or I could not be buying over the counter.
Ответитьimpressive !! mate your a boss!
ОтветитьThanks for the clutch discussion. I totally love the carb vs tpi description. The lag and sloppiness of butterfly and Venturi create a clutch out of predictable slop in the throttle….allowing decrease clutch use…genius….always a two stroke? Lighter easy work on? Gonna buy new bike…wanna practice this stuff. I want the bike light and predictable….lugs well stock for 6’2….200 lbs. want predictable blip for easier wheelie.
ОтветитьDamn dawg…
ОтветитьWhat an awesome review, thank you!
ОтветитьMy extremely high regards for the quality contents of this channel. You know what you´re talking about and have such a talent putting it out in a very understandable manner.
ОтветитьThat's the best explanation of carb vs fuel injection. I went 21 Beta cause I couldn't get used to the 19 Husky throttle. Loving the Beta so far, really close to my 17 Ktm, which was awesome of course!
ОтветитьHonestly, hands down the best person I have ever heard describe the minutia of hard enduro riding. You’re so skilled at breaking down extremely hard to describe and very specific aspects of riding technique etc.
ОтветитьCould you make a video on specifically on what machine is best at each situation. You hinted at that being the case. It would be nice to hear what those cases would be
Ответитьtpi is bad as piston doesn't get lubricated properly at higher revs i ride beta 300rr and carbs have been tried and tested il stick with my easily tunable carb remeber these r enduro bikes dont need all that electrical crap that could wrong on a rail or in a race
Ответитьbro u got some good enduro skills ive subscribed hopefully you do training videos to help further enduro skills
ОтветитьIt's time to test a TM Racing EN 300Fi 2S from 2022 😉
ОтветитьThis being the best Hard Enduro channel and Rich being the best Hard Enduro reviewer - would really love to hear an honest long term review of the Rieju MR 300 Pro...
ОтветитьI can see electric dirt bikes taking over motocross. But not hard enduro. What are your thoughts...
I mean could a electric bike make it over the obstacles not does it have enough range
Hey mate how come you left TM out???
ОтветитьIf you are going to allow aftermarket mods in the review, you should really review a Sherco with a SmartCarb.
ОтветитьDid you try the TorqDrive clutch pack on the Sherco?
ОтветитьThe footage of you climbing the side of cliff face really puts terrain into perspective. I'm at that age in my life where if I smell burning clutch I'll limp it home. After owning a 4stroke for last 10yrs I'm still weary of abusing bike for fear of it costing a thousand dollars to fix..
Ответитьnice comparison🔥
Thumbs up
KUKI
Just pick a colour, all are great bikes !!
ОтветитьAs a long time moto engineer I appreciate the rare intelligent and objective review. Kudos! The reviewer accurately picks up on some nuanced differences in TPI and carburetion, and diaphragm versus helical coil springs clutches. As a long term trials rider I appreciate seeing the rider's wide mastery of trials skills applied to Hard Enduro.
ОтветитьNever was a brand loyal guy... until I bought my beta! I would have a hard time stepping away from them. So well rounded
ОтветитьMade in China ? I prefer the Japanese brands . They are the best in my opinion bro dog . Assembled wherever ? Bla bla bla Battery starter. EFI. No thanks
ОтветитьI disagree on ur assessment of the tpi power. It does indeed do what u say, and I disliked it too. But it’s a lean condition that an ecu remap fixed. At least this was my experience. To me the engine would spool up too easy mid range. I didn’t like it either, but now it’s amazing!
