I enjoyed this video. I was raised in the Church and I can tell you it’s a nice way to grow up. People helping people. Learning to appreciate beauty and values and not judging others for being different. I always say the goal is to raise productive citizens ❤ The church is a small community- a village if you will - based on population numbers. There are usually less than 400 members per ward and 3 wards per church. That’s why there are so many churches in a densely populated Mormon town. The smaller the ward, the more community you have with less invisibility. I learned everything I need to know in Primary. “Because I have been given much, I too must give.” 🙏

Hey there Nick, you actually went into the assembly hall on temple square, not the temple. The SL temple is the one under construction.

The temples are places of worship for anyone who wants a closer relationship with the Father and His Son and who are willing to enter into a covenant relationship with Them but not everyone is willing to make and keep those covenants.

If you really want to see inside a temple it is possible though. After a temple is buillt or updated there will be an open house time period where visitors can tour the temple. So once the SLC temple reconstruction is done, you will be able to tour it. Many temples are being built all over the world. They are the most peaceful and sacred structures in the world because they are dedicated Houses for the Lord's Spirit to dwell. I love going to the Lord's house.

I'm Roman Catholic but I don't follow the religion. I believe in God but I refuse to be restricted by any religion. I pray to God I live and treat people as I would want to be treated. I feel free from the strict code of religion and I'm not tied to anything they do. Christ completely satisfied the just demands of a holy God for judgment upon sin by his death at Calvary, and proved that our sins are gone by his resurrection from the dead. That's the Gospel that Christ gave, the apostles proclaimed, and the same gospel by which we (who believe) are saved. There is no reason for a so-called "restored" Gospel--the original one never disappeared. Maranatha.
