Ultimate LOADED NACHOS Battle

As a Texan who is currently eating nachos, I am impressed but horrified.

I loved seeing the boys back up to their antics and shenanigans. And not taking them to the point they were too far but just a good old laugh. Definitely Mike made loaded nachos and something that you could likely see at some fusion restaurant. 👏🏻 The other two however even when you stretch the brief to allow for creativity they didn’t make loaded nachos. Components I would look for in any nachos are tortilla chips in some form they can be sweet or savory a sauce of some kind and accouterments that would level it up to loaded and not just nachos (chips and a sauce for dipping).

How I felt the desperation in Barry's voice when Jamie was threatening to and eventually crushed his nacho cannoli base... all my childhood traumas from my siblings revisited me. The begging to not destroy something, the inevitable realisation that it would happen anyway and the despair when it your fears came to be.

Heck no! Barry missed the brief. Mike won that CLEARLY!

Mike didn't make nachos. He made a dish piled together. There is no such dish with poutine gravy and tortilla chips.

None of this is nachos but jaime probably tastes like nacho.

So next dish. Let's make fish and chips using hamburger, pickles, durian fruit, and chocolate pudding.

I feel like I'm split down the middle using Jamie's and Mike's recipes (because one uses red met and the other chicken or vegetarian dishes-- all crave-worthy). But Barry's flavor combos and single use tips and tricks-- I'm using weekly and gives me permission/freedom to try flavors that I don't know how to put in a meal on my own and are so amazing when I try them! What a team! You guys are wonderful!

Mike is the only one to make nachos, loses the nacho competition to Barry anyway. Mike pulls off techniques even ebbers hasn't and was skeptical about, loses the creativity badge to Barry literally following advice Ben gave him mid battle. Mike loses a 5 ingredient battle to Barry using far more than that. Mike stays in time limit, barry goes over it and still wins. Seriously, WTF do you lot have against Mike? Why is he even here if you apparently have a "Mike always loses" policy?

Mike should have won. He is like the forgotten middle child. He follows the rules and get pretty good results but little brother Barry always pulls out the razzle dazzle and gets people confused and surprised that he does something that ends up ok. Sometimes I wonder if he is a mastermind and has everyone convinced that he is full of cloud eggs and pretentiousness but is actually on the ball because he smiles and plays with his hair and then ends up winning... a lot.

Two of those are automatic fails. They didn't follow the brief and make loaded nachos lol How does that work?

I would not have done a cupcake but instead take corn chips and made corn nacho pasta and a nacho filling for a ravioli in a nacho cheese sauce

No. Just no. Nachos are what you get at a cheap restaurant with meat, guacamole, sour cream, gloppy cheese, onions, nothing weird. These are not nachos. They are whatever using tortilla chips as an ingredient. I had high hoped for this video.

If I was a contender I would have made a normal plate of nachos but I would have made the chips with pork scratchings
