I am still sure that a miracle happened that day.

For those who want a clear analysis, basically, the car slit and caught on fire because the guard rail plunged the velocity of the chassis that the rear of the car didn’t lose any speed. So when the cockpit lost speed, the rear was still going 100+ km/h and it fell of because it got swung so quick and violent, almost as violent as the 1976 Nürburgring. After that, the collision between the axels, suspension, the transmission, and the guard rail caused a fire. Hope this helps!

Everyone's talking about the HALO, but no one talks about how lucky he is that his car hits the railing structure and cut in half at that part, imagine if it hit the railing structure right beside him like in the cockpit area, he would be cut in half.

To be honest the way that accident went down . Romain Grosjean should have died on impact. It’s scary to think racing has happened for so long without anyone dying like this .
