BCC is a good news, Melanoma is a nightmare. SCC is just average. The defect after any skin cancer depends on how much you have delayed seeking medical care. If you get it checked earlier, it can be excised and closed directly without any flap or graft like I do in my 70% of patients, 30% just delay and try over the counter things before its too late.
ОтветитьWhat a woman ,same prob ,so positive made me feel better
ОтветитьAmazing attitude with having to put up with this situation. Great job!
ОтветитьI can't help but wonder....what's the risk of losing so much of that forehead vein??
ОтветитьThat is jarring
ОтветитьI admire your Great helpful and cheerful disposition ❣️
ОтветитьI'd be like Austin Powers about the mole. Did I say mole? I said mole. Moley, moley, moley, moley, moley!
I'm sorry you had to go through that. It would take everything I got not to "take matters in my own hands".
Oof, its so true how they talk to you about the "better" versions of cancer, especially when it turns out to be worse than they thought. Sure, DCIS is "basically stage 0" breast cancer, still cancer! And was actually stage 1A.
ОтветитьI had a non malignant basal cell carcinoma,it looked like a rice crispie tucked into the left side of my nose apparently when they did the surgery they found out it was double the depth in a area where there's not much tissue they have to scrape away all of the tissue past the margins and the then they used a technique called a flap to close up the wound that was like a triangle shape all that for something the size of a rice crispie ...if it had been cancerous I could of had part of my tongue removed,my soft palate and some of my nose that was around 7 years ago maybe longer? But it was the dentist that knew it was something a lot worse than I thought and she actually phoned my G.P there& then.. brilliant now i cant even find a dentist taking on adult patients ill just keep looking .... interesting upload...
Ответитьhope it went well janet. many regards.
ОтветитьHer positive energy is fantastic! She has so much courage. Good luck!
ОтветитьWhat happens if she accidentally rips it off in her sleep
ОтветитьGirl........ so happy you are doing well now! I had to go check your channel to make sure you were. Your energy is amazing. I don't know much about you... but whatever it is... (I hope is not a mask.. ). Thank you!
ОтветитьI had an SCC on my nose and they repaired it by a skin graft from my shoulder, Looks like you got the special treatment. Just don't get melanoma. I had one removed from my cheek and what with the the lymph nodes removed, I ended up with a scar that runs from my cheek to the middle of my chest. Mind you, I am in Queensland Australia the skin cancer capital of the universe!. All the best.
Ответитьim in love
Ответитьdaaamn, interesting video! i hope your recovery process goes well <3
ОтветитьNot sure why this video popped up on recommended... any way, glad I watched having worked in cancer research for a few years. I love your attitude of something like "things happen and we'll get through it". The educational angle was also inspiring. I'm certain there were some down moments, thank you for sharing your grace.
ОтветитьSo they are going to remove that at some point?
ОтветитьI mean its probably better then lukemia or sumthin n thats what they meant by saying "god news its just etc"
ОтветитьNose scaffolding 😭
ОтветитьCan't they just put it back when they are done with it?
ОтветитьCancer of any kind sucks, I know because I have been fighting it for about 4 years?😷
Ответитьi am sorry but 🤮
ОтветитьNow this, this is the kind of confidence I wish I had. You made the whole situation feel so light hearted despite being something so serious. You are an amazing inspiration, hope stuff has gone better since this. (this is the first video of yours I'm seeing)
ОтветитьThis is just fucking amazing.
ОтветитьWhich Star Trek episode is this?
ОтветитьYup, that's enough internet for today
ОтветитьIs she married?
ОтветитьBruh, she's melting 😭
ОтветитьDid noone see the photo of Ozzy in the background? Awesome
ОтветитьThis video made me so happy. I'll wear sun screen now :D
ОтветитьYou explain things very well :)
ОтветитьI haven't seen a comment addressing this, but I believe the extra skin connection is essentially for a healthy blood supply for the removed skin & flesh healing. I believe it will be removed after the flesh has grown back to replace the removed chunk (medical term) of flesh. That or either it's draining a part of the nasal void effected by the removed "chunk" (That's the medical term again).
ОтветитьLove the attitude considering. You're absolutely beautiful as well!
ОтветитьFuck your joy is incredible!!! YES MADAM! Hank Green levels of rando-knowledge!
ОтветитьI like to think the twist is the extra pillar growing from your face has nothing to do with the cancer story.
ОтветитьWell I'm glad you're in good spirits.❤🎉
ОтветитьBasal cell carcinoma has a 100% survivability. Best to get it checked out regardless
ОтветитьLove that positive spirit! It is super sci-fi and cool! All the best
ОтветитьAmazing what they can do and I hope you have a full recovery. I`m also sat here watching this about to remove my dressing from my second basal cell. My first one was in my inner Ear= Operation ,general anaesthetic, cut my ear half off, peel it back, remove cancer and permanently part of my Ear, skin graft, stitch back together. I`ve also lost about 40% of the hearing in my ear as hole now smaller( not complaining just need a hearing aid).Second time(now)= on left Temple, local anaesthetic, cut out/off, stitches and will have a scar for life. Not worried about scar as truck driver but might of been if female so yep= use that sun block folks. 🙂
ОтветитьWait, TNG S4 EP 9? Yeah?
ОтветитьTry out for a movie
ОтветитьGood grief, your attitude alone will heal you of practically anything. You have a great attitude.
ОтветитьWow. Thanks for showing us. Fascinating.
ОтветитьAAAAHHHHH
ОтветитьThis is what you call a true definition of a soldier. Get on with life keep it moving regardless....❤💯
ОтветитьThat’s my gf
ОтветитьYou are a very brave and open person. Thanks for sharing!
