I was fortunate enough to get 10 rolls of 2024 pennies yesterday. I've not opened them yet so I don't know where they were minted as I've seen on Ebay 3 pennies, the D, S, and P selling for 19.97. There is also a shortage of the 2024 Nickles for other reasons. It costs 3c to make a 1c penny.

I found a few 2024 Lincoln 1c with no VDB Initials from grease strike thru. Sold 1 on ebay 20.00

I found a 2024 with a die chip

I got a new 2024 box.. not sure what I want yet.. leaning towards opening, but I need to learn how to approach it and don't see any videos. I haven't even opened the box.. they do have holes on the top of the box and I do believe I see a massive die crack on one.

I know the errors to look for .. but 1. wear gloves? 2. Put it in a tube and label it uncirc or just turn them in? 3. To minimize damage and fingerprints, put them in cardboard folds and staple?
Send them off to grading?

What auctions are they selling these at, or its just on eBay?? If this is true im wiping the bank out completely of their inventory asap

Definitely SELL! That is some crazy profits for a roll of pennies (or boxes). But, I think I would keep a few rolls, unopened, for my kids. I always get new rolls in each denom to save for them, to hopefully be worth good money some day. Not sure how that will work out, since it will probably be after I'm dead, lol, but I'm hoping!
