I'm so excited to go to festival of the arts for the first time! i can't wait for the broadway concert series :) I am going the first week of festival of the arts but i planned to go to epcot on january 15th during my stay from the 12th-17th. do you think that's a good idea since the festival starts on the 12th? (but i do want to run into some of my favorite disney bloggers haha)

How are crowd sizes during Mardi Gra week?

Genie + fan from so cal here. Going for a week in Feb... Really hoping that they don't make those changes to Genie + until after our vacation. I don't like that prebooking would give us less flexibility while we're there.

I have used my dad’s military discount, my Disney+ discount, my Disney, credit card discount, and one other discount well multiple times every time I go. It works windows and it’s awesome.

We are using small world for our Feb trip !! First time with them ( I have planned all our others ) Angela’s been incredible helping us plan . She is watching for discounts on our package , booking our Minnie van & helping us decide on some things !!

I like the price comparisons at the resorts given different times of the year, but these are not discounts because Disney is raising all of their prices across-the-board January 9. So, do you want a discounted price at one of the bargain resorts is still higher, then for the same time this year. So, I don’t know how anyone can consider the rules to be discounts. Price differentiation, that is. Still, I’m glad you shared. Thank you.

My sister and I are going on January 9th so we can catch the dining card promo. We got surprised by the After Hours events, but we're going to do those as well. This is our last chance to go for an extended period because we will need to stay closer to home to care for our parents, so we're going whole hog!

If you eat at the parks you'd better have a lot of money. A hotdog and chips at Animal Kingdom is $10 but $12 at Universal. This is why I bring my own food. I went to the Food and Wine fest at Epcot this year and last year and it was so big deal. I went to The Halloween event Oct. 19 and even though it was fun it was way to crowded.

Your voice telling me to “book now before it’s too late” just definitely made me call Disney and put my reservation in 😅!

I say going around this time right now is a great time to go. You get to see Halloween and the start of Christmas. Epcot has the food and wine fest going on, and crowds typically in early November aren’t bad at all from my experience. Plus the weather isn’t to hot and generally no hurricanes to worry about.

Apparently today, November 1st is a great day! 15 minute wait for Space Mountain let’s goo!!

Going the week after labor day. A lot of the kids in Florida are stuck in class for the first couple weeks, so the weekday lines are real low by Disney standards, plus you get the Halloween party at MK and the Food and Wine festival at Epcot.

Expect the worst with the price hikes, diluted magic, and small festival portions but the best time to go is to go with the best people!

The WORST Times To Go To Disney World in (most any year)
(1) The week between Christmas and New Years Day (peak attendance)
(2) July 1 to September 15 (Hurricane Season)
(3) Any time there is not a Festival in Epcot (good luck finding one!)
